They might have changed it - otherwise you are very close

Can't people still have a way of 'recommending a post'? That'd be a better idea than this one (sorry but I didn't like it much )

There's loads of posts that go unrecognised, but they're usually composed by the posters that are the least prolific. Like some people can learn a lot from one post from someone in the Techie section, or the Pure money, or Money Saving Old Style, can't they? They could learn a lot from the Benefits and 'I wanna be debt free' too couldn't they?

They might not learn much from the Grabbit, or Freebies (apart from how to grab one lol), but surely those that give out advice that benefits a lot of people, or even a few, can still be recognised? By a mention somewhere maybe?

Or am I being dumb again?

You can of course say thanks on the board or better still pm them personally,it's always nice to be thanked personally and you can also nominate them for post of the month..........it doesn't have to be a massively popular post for that and it may not win but the poster WILL appreciate being nominated all the same:D

Only just noticed that the boxes have disappeared! People power!

Personally, I like the current Post of the Month system. Think there has been a nice balance recently between the winners. There have been people who manage to find and share the bargain of the century and those who are just generally supportive and offer good advice to other users. It is just a shame that more people don't remember to vote every month.
