Maybe that's where the thank you 'hack' might work better.

There's just certain posts that might not be read by everyone if they don't visit that part of the forum, but might be invaluable to some members is they knew about it.

I mean, I've learned a lot that might not apply to me but might apply to family or friends, so I might not PM them and say 'that helped my bro - thanks a lot' but I'm sure you know what I mean lol.

I agree and the hack system does look like a good idea,lets hope if they go ahead ,they test it first so it doesn't disappoint like the last idea:D
