I find if I cant read or post here in the mornings then I cba later in the day.
DH still suffering with the sciatica. We need to collect the freezer tonight soam hoping he can manage.
Tea was fish, new pots and mushy peas. Thats about it from me.
Hope everyone's well.

just had a falling out with hubby
i went to clear a sofa and found his empty glass, empty glass and dinner plate, his dirty jeans and a pair of socks. probably not the end of the world but have nagged him time and time again about tidying up after himself. i'm sure he thinks i am his mother.
his answer to it 'oh i will do the dishwasher when ds is in bed'. i dont want him to the dishwasher (well i do ) i want him to actually appriciate the effort its taking me at the moment to get motivated
he then started getting picky going through what was on the sofa and finding what was mine - a pen, a magazine and my jumper. said i am as bad as him.
then in the next breath, he asks whats for dinner  nothing because you took my my bloody bankcard to work with you  'oh do you want to go and get something then?':mad: told him where to go and now sat sulking in the bedroom
he's just come back with a pizza for himself for dinner. i guess i'm not eating tonight then
i hate this illness and pretty much everything else at the moment

Awww ((((lou)))) - hope you feel better x
I had a good MSE moment earlier, rung one of my CC's to cancel it and they offered me a 9month 0% balance transfer with no fee
so that's helped the budget slightly.
I didn't get much uni work done
brain wasn't functioning properly! So I've tidied the flat (well I'm part way through). I have a friend coming to stay on Thurs so need it to be sparkling. I've cleared the top of my fridge, my old cd player/radio used to live there but as I listen to radio through the tv and all music online I decided to stow it away onto of wardrobe in spare room. So top of fridge can now house my UHT milk cartons, bottles of water and squash etc.
I stopped tidying to batch cook veggie chilli and have it for my tea. Yum!
I'm going to dye my hair now and continue the tidy whilst I wait for it to work it's magic. I'm going out Saturday for first time in 3months so want to look my best, got a new maxi dress from Tesco today too.
Earlier this evening the local fire station brought 2 fire trucks and their powerboat to the dock. They were practising rescuing people from the water, it was so funny watching them fall in to be rescued :rotfl:.
Have a good evening all

Hi all
(((hugs))) for those who need esp Lou xx
Was a bit glad to get back to work today. Easter was.....hmmm what can I say....nice and relaxing for most days, but DSD spoilt it by pinching a bottle of vodka from the fridge and necking 3/4 of it and turning into a screaming harpy.....OH now has a lovely black eye to show for him caring enough to try and get her back in the house instead of lying on the front garden. Lesson learnt....no booze in the house when she is here!
On the OS front, OH went into the loft and got down a load of stuff we had kept because we could lol, loads of stuff to tip and a few bits to ebay. We both went through loads of photos and got rid of ones that contained people who we had no idea who they were
V busy at work as have to get peoples hours for last and this week down to payroll on Thursday, lots of looking into crystal ball and guessing for us....lots of phone calls next pay day when we have got it wrong!
Looking forward to this next long weekend, my DS, BIL and DN are coming.
I am also waiting on news of my next DGD, due next week but we think might be coming sometime soon :jwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine
Stopped smoking 20:30 28/09/11

I am picking brains tonight, at the moment .I go to a craft club and one of our ladies phoned tonight to say she had made a big box of cards ,both birthday/Christmas cards hopefully to be sent out to our soldiers. Not many Clinton Cards out where they are at the moment There are around a dozen of us, and we usually donate our cards to local charities but have decided that this time we thought the soldiers posted oversea might like to be able to send a card to their Mums/girlfriends/wives or children with their best wishes.Got a bit stuck as I'm not too sure whom we send the stuff off too or where .I would appreciate any ideas or addresses where these could be sent to.
Cheers JackieO
PS we did a whole days crafting a few months ago and had ove two hundrd card and envelopes that went the the McMillan Fund.Thought it was time the boys over there had a few0
