            Morning All!
I stole the sun and you aren't having it back
 :j
Washing on the line, another in the machine and I have stripped the boys' beds too, which will be next. I have some clearing up to do, and some stuff to take to the Salvation Army shop, then the dump. DS's are back at school, their inset day is next Tuesday, than they are in Wed, off for the elections, and back in on Friday  luckily I have jiggled my shifts about to match, but the voluntary job has gone on the back burner for a few weeks with all there Friday bank holidays and then that, which is a shame as its a much needed service, although I am retraining at the moment after being away so long last year.
No other plans really today, I am out for lunch with my friend I told you about last week, so excited about that! We are meeting at a local hotel for lunch, and the boys will walk round after school for an ice cream in the sunshine
Then I need to take DS2 for new school shoes - his feet seem to have grown a whole size in the last three weeks  This is the first year his Clarks haven't fitted him right through until summer, so he'll be getting Sports Direct specials; a pair of cheapie black trainers as I don't want to get real shoes which he will osssibly outgrow over the summer. He also needs new trainers. Money, money, money!
Have a lovely day everyone, and be good!

JackieG Send us back the sunshine please!!! It is so cold here today! As for school shoes, DS1 has outgrown his over the Easter so he too will be having a pair of Sports direct black trainers to see him until the summer.

LouLou Don't feel embarrassed on here, i've found it so lovely and supportive that i'm sure no one will judge you :heart2:
Thank you all for your messages yesterday re: my mayo/food poisoning incident, boy have I learnt my lesson. Been through the fridge and thrown anything potentially ill making away. Have also been to see the GP today who was lovely as ever, i am still dehydrated and need to keep an eye on my weight, he has also given me something to stop me visiting the bathroom too so i'm hoping my days will get better!!
Start my new/temporary job tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it so I can gain some confidence again and earn so much needed money but not because I'm so so tired....:(
Don't want to finish on a moan so:D to everyone hope you have a great day.

Inset day here as well so DH has had to go in DS is back to school tomorrow and has got to knuckle down to revision because his AS? levels are looming  I don't understand the education system these days it has been a long time since I was at school and we had CSE's, O levels and A levels.
Scooter is fully charged and I am planning on a trip to town to put a prescription in and have a nice quiet mooch round the shops on my own
Washing done and on the line and another load in which hopefully will be finished by the time I have got my bot in gear.
MIL and FIL came to us yesterday and we had a lovely day. I get on with MIL like a house on fire so we always have a good chat and a laugh.
Dinner tonight is left overs from yesterday so easy peasy.
Redruby...... Your poor Dad that could have been kidney failure! What has happended to our once great NHS? People are treated like cattle these days and if you are old you get pushed to the back of the queue and as for the triage nurses don't get me going on them  after the beatch that saw DH in February
Well after getting that off my chest I hope that you all have good days and if not ((((((((Hugs))))))) if needed xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

            Morning all.
Hugs to all those in need or want (((((((hugs)))))))
My dd1 has also grown out of her shoes over the hols! So she told me this morning on the way out to school, and I didn't quite believe her, thought she was just angling for new shoes too. Seems she may be right after all! Black trainers from Sports Direct for her too.... thank God for them!
LO still off nursery til tomorrow, and my friend's daughter (11) here for the day as she is still off and her Mum back to work. Lovely having her. So polite and plays with dd2 all day, so I can just get on with stuff.
Leg much better today. Just turning into a massive purple bruised area now as the inflammation going. Up at 5.45 this morning as I woke and started thinking about all the housework needing done, as I had to leave it the last couple of days. Because I have been keeping up with at least level 1 flylady, it didn't take long to get the place looking presentable. Have a friend coming for cuppa later, so got to bake some hob nobs and choc muffins.
Going to get out in the garden too and plant some Jerusalme artichokes I was given from freecycle along with chilli and pepper plants. I exchanged them for raspberry canes and sunflower seeds, so we are both happy.
Got to plant out a couple of courgette plants, and ask around friends to get rid of some. I planted extra to sell at car boot, and now dh told me he isn't going to do another car boot for a while, so I am left with extra tomato plants and courgettes. I know I can get rid on freecycle within minutes, but I had really wanted to sell them to get some money for my allotment fund
So, have a good day all, whatever you are doing and I will pop back later for a nosy.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

            Morning Troops,
Just a quicky as I am need to get a loaf in the BM quick or the brood won't have any lunch.
Got back last night and my kitchen looks like a bomb has gone off in it. Need to get DC1's clothes washed as he is off for 3 days on a school trip. Also need to supervise homework and decide what to have for dinner tonight.
Have come in under budget on my GC, so I am very chuffed. I am not reducing the budget but I am trying to come in under budget and squirrel the money off for holidays. Our next one hopefully being at the end of May. We have decided we really need to replace the trailer tent with a motorhome or trailer so I am also going to relook at other budgets and see if I can get my credit union loan paid off quicker so we can get the money for one.
Brood are playing in the bath so I am going to try and get as much done as I can. Will try and catch up with the thread later.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Rosie - how about selling the extra plants at your garden gate - lots of folk round here sell plants, flowers, eggs, honey, potatoes, etc!
RR - hope your dad is feeling better today and has managed to see his GP?
Housework is done, few flylady extras left on the list still, but have got kitchen and bathrooms cleaned, as well as all the normal bits, and just need to go and peg out some washing, then make dough into rolls and put in oven for second rising. Then I shall be having a poke around in the garden and hopefully finishing a bit of painting for dd1.
dd1 informed my yesterday that her laptop had died, argh! Not really very helpful when she needs it for GCSE revision, sigh! So she will be using mine and meanwhile I shall have to drop hers off at a friends, thank heavens for knowing someone who enjoys messing about with computers and is good at repairs!
Right on with the pegging out!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Bread on, washing out of the machine and hung up and another lot in, brood still in the bath happy playing

HH, so glad that your BIL is improving.
Silvermaid, well done on surviving THE visit.
Redruby, sorry to hear about your Dad, hope he has improved now. Hope that they complain to the hospital's PALS.
Nic1Lou2, I have two gluten intollerant DC's and have found it quite easy to adapt. I cook everything from scratch and have a BM that can make GF bread, which they prefer. Though they will eat Genius Bread other GF bread is very dry and crumbly. You should be able to get it on prescription if you are Ceoliac. I also make my own cakes and biscuits.
Right off to do bit more
ETA: my last post should say motorhome or caravan obviously.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

I would love to do that, but we live at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac. So not a lot of through traffic.mummysaver wrote: »Rosie - how about selling the extra plants at your garden gate - lots of folk round here sell plants, flowers, eggs, honey, potatoes, etc!
I will maybe hold on for a couple of weeks, certainly with the tomato plants, and hope that there will be a school sale or something on. Don't think I would have space to keep the courgettes as they get very big, very quickly!
Think I will have a look on ebay, and see if anyone ever sells 'fresh' plants for local pick up only. I know you can buy 'bare root' plants to get through the post. Off for a nosy now and will report back.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
