Can't do the car boot for now, but never thought of putting them on gumtree. What a great idea JackieG. Thanks. Will check it out now, after ebay.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

I just had a look on ebay, and people do sell courgette and tomato plugs on there. Some for local pick up, and some through the post. I will maybe do gumtree first, as it is free to advertise.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Afternoon all
I've done my food shop (aldi, morrisons and tesco!) and taken the recycling to the tip. Also called in the travel agents to get a quote on the Bahamas for my friend's wedding - they quoted £2050 for 7 nights all inclusive, not exactly cheap but will be a holiday of a lifetime!! Oh that and my 4 week NZ/Oz/HK trip
.
Just had lunch and am going to do some uni work in a min once I've put washing on the airer on balcony.
I'm liking this working from home malarky

Sitting eating seeded bread, warm, with lashings of butter from the breadmaker! nom! nom! nom!
nmlc, I have a mother like that to so I sympathise.
Moorhen, that is a novel use of Easter eggs
might try and copy that. Though being away this week meant we were not inundated with eggs
Uolypool, can I ask where you got your gammon from? Hope the school meeting goes well. Will be thinking of you.
Right off to do some more.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
My friend just came over to give me a chicken and spinach pie, to save me standing making dinner!!!! I was so touched. Made with chicken breast too, no less. Something neither of us buys cos of the price. She had done an online Asda shop, and ordered 2 packs of chicken thighs, and they sent 2 packs breasts instead for the same price! And, she ordered a 12 pack of pull-up pants type things (Huggies I think) and because they had none, they gave her a 48 pack of their own brand! She is well chuffed!
And so am I with my pie obviously. Gave her a courgette plant in return lol. One down, 15 to go!!!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Hi tigerfeet, it was from Tesco .It was one of the HUGE ones they advertised at Christmas was way to big to fit in my 6.5 litre slow cooker which will give you some idea of the size.Got it after christmas with a lovely yellow sticker on;).
Ds3 just got home from his exam, he is exhausted to say the least. As they came in on the inset day to do the exam school have decided that all those who did so can have tomorrow off to make up for loosing the last day of their easter hols .Dd has run him a nice bubble bath with some of my Badedas (sp) bath foam to soak in .He could hardly get up the stairs he was so tired, so I think he will be in for an early night and a late morning tomorrow;)Will give him an hour in the bath and if I dont hear him I'll send one of his brothers up incase he has fallen asleep:rotfl:.Uniforms all ironed, shoes polished bags ready for school, then ds4 tells me tomorrow is one of his days off of timetable so 3 at school 2 off.Its not fair;)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -

Bless you Lou, big hugs to you, perhaps if you just do one small thing each day, maybe clear the sofa today, then you can lie on it
, I know with me that if the house is in a bit of a mess it really gets me down, but for me even doing one thing makes me feel better xxxx 0 -
I agree. I am the same as you some days, when I know things need done, but CBA. Clear the sofa at least today. Put the stuff in different piles for different destinations. Then just work through it until you get them all in their places. Sit down and treat yourself to a bit of telly, cuppa, forum, whatever floats your boat!
If I have stuff to put away upstairs, I put it on the bed, then I HAVE to put it away before we go to bed. Works for me.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
