do they accept tesco coups in sainsburys?

I have used in some of my Clubcard vouchers in various Sainsburys stores over the past two weeks. The policy is a Marketing devised scheme and it seems that although all the stores on the list have signed up for it, they aren't too happy to take large amounts of vouchers, My advice is;

• Take the E Mail with you
• Shop during office hours so you can call Customer Services at Head Office if necessary - they will tell the store to accept your vouchers.
• Stay calm if refused and insist on seeing the Manager.

Remember it is Sainsbury's policy to accept the vouchers in the 19 stores listed. These stores should be trying to gain your custom from Tesco and Head Office will back you up if you have problems.:money:

Hi FloFlo..........I tried to join PTS but although i can change my password, I havent received the acknowledgement email to register, so cant tell anyone(as theres no "contact us"), and dont want to change my username to get in.

Success!!!! I went back to London Colney after making a complaint about original woman who refused. I got the name of a customer services rep who said yes, definately, so I was feeling confident.

Trolley loaded with clothes, dvds, wine, spirits, expensive cosmetics etc etc and I got £175 worth of free shopping!!!!!!!!

This is my best moneysaving tip ever, thanks to everyone who has contributed.

I have got a lift down to Banbury but I cant go till Tuesday. Does anyone know if they plan a cut of date?

The Banbury store is no longer taking clubcard vouchers.

Neither is Halifax.

Oh well.
Seems as if each time I think I can use them my hopes are dashed..lol
I will wait till Monday and see were is still taking them and see if I can blag a lift there instead

Well this is confusing and more than slightly annoying..... I rang the Sleaford store to check before I made a 40 mile round trip and they said no they do not accept the vouchers, so I then rang the national Sainsburys Customer Services and they told me that none of their stores accept Clubcard vouchers, only the Tescos £x off an £x spend.

Don't suppose anyone here has tried to use vouchers in either of the Sleaford or Grimsby stores?
