Ask them to call the Marketing Director of Sainsbury's and quote the email that someone copied on to this forum listing the stores that are supposed to be part of the trial - My local did that and the cs rang me back to say that they did take them and that she was letting staff know now.0

Hi
Went yesterday to the Halifax one, i'm in Manchester so it was a 45 min drive (but a nic drive with lovely scenery!) I phoned first and they said yes but hubby made me check again at the customer service desk and they said yes so £200 of freebies! we got all kind of things we wouldnt normally buy like nice wine chocs dvds for kids new cutlery more choc...super! did end up paying about £30 towards it but had a lovely experience as the staff were all lovly and helpful - the cashier wasnt sure how to put them through so she had to call someone over but they were very nice!
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread, hopefully sainsburys wont pull the plug on this yet and i can have another trip next quarter!
(also got kids wardrobes on the way from mfi!!)
Good luck everyone and it definalty is worth travelijng for!

Thanks everyone...
Just come back from Halifax. Very friendly staff and no problems with coupons, but then I suppose that should be expected from people up north.

Hi
I've been to Grimsby today after calling in advance and speaking to Chris in customer services.
The cashier took them, no questions asked for both mine and my mum's shop. She was saying that not many people had been using them, and I was just saying how I fancied a change from Tesco's so decided to spend them here for something different :rotfl:
Nice big store too.0
