I wonder if anyone can tell me if any of the named stores are anywhere near hampshire, or on route to newmarket (have to go there next week anyway)
    Thanks so much
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

OK, this is what happened to me. I called Customer Care Line, they confirmed Loughborough, I called CS at Loughborough who said no to Clubcard Vouchers, so I then called back Customer Care Line who said that Loughborough had agreed to the trial and therefore had to accept them. He made some notes on the computer and gave me a reference number and told me to take that to CS in Loughborough.

I drove to Loughborough and sure enough had a right game at CS but eventually said that I could because of the conversation and reference number at Customer Care.

Anybody would think that I was asking the CS to pay for my shopping.

Oldbury are not taking them (they used to but stopped a few weeks ago, according to c/s). But Banbury definitely are.

I went to Beckton tonight, about 9.30pm, after getting an email from HO and ringing store earlier today.
It was really quiet in the store at that time.
I went first to CS and explained that I had Tesco clubcard vouchers and email, spoke to someone earlier (had the lady's name ready) etc:
    No problem at all.
They treated me so well I was beginning to think they'd kept the store open for me alone.
They said they are taking them (they think until 25th, unless they are told not to before then) because Tesco are taking their Nectar coupons.
Everybody in the store at the time knew they took them as well.
    I used over £150 on a £350 shop.
At the end the guy said 'do you have any more at home? If you do come again and use them before we change our policy.' and wasn't joking.
So its a YES at Beckton East London.

ps. I might add it was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I've had for some time. Not one rude or unpleasant sales assistant in sight.

You could always say that you didn't have a card ...............and the next person in the queue used their one on your shop :)
I 'missed out' on about 600 odd nectar points on my shop after leaving my card at home!

Good thinking LL, hopefully it won't come to that but I'm sure I'll be the first to find out.
