Last May I noticed a sign up in the Romford Sainsbury's saying they accept Tesco vouchers. I tried to use one, but they wouldn't take it so I emailed to complain when I got home. I got a letter of apology and a £10 voucher

hi all just had a fantastic day shopping!!
what with boots, tesco and to top it all off i used £36 of clubcard vouchers in norwich sainsburys!!!
they took them all no problem.
my friend had over a £100 and they took them too.
so go fill ya boots:T

oh by the way there was a big banner up outside saying that they took tesco vouchers.

Me too, just got £200 worth of shopping from Hornchurch Sainsbury's. I rang before and asked if they took them, spent lots of time descibing them the CS lady had to ring me back after speaking to the manager, so I asked his name and then checked again at CS when I went in. THe girl I'd spoken to was at lunch so the other CS just told me to go fill the trolley!

Did me impression of Dale Winton and quoted the manager's name and that of the CS lady at the checkout and she manually put them through.:j

Thanks to the OP, now I just need to decide when I'll be brave enough to go back in with the other £200 vouchers I have.

Oh and my MFI wardrobes are due next week:beer:

What a fantastic day I had.

Went to Norwich Sainsburys and got;
3 x MP3 players
2 x DS games
Bell for daughters bike
Clothing
Bedlinen

Very happy used clubcard vouchers and paid pence - what a result.

No questions asked they just over-rode the tills and would accept as many has you had as long as they are in date. So friendly and helpful.

After finding the name on the list of stores apparently taking the vouchers I spoke to teh store manager who assured me they were not but they did be4 Xmas. He said that quite a few people have been asking...

I then rang headoffice asking if the store should accept them and they confirmed taht it was one of the rial stores. She talked to the manager while i was on the phone with the result that he is just informing his staff of the fact that hey can be used. Apparently he hadn't read his memo....
I'm off shopping to Sainsburys now.....

I have used my tesco vouchers in Asda Govan and Asda Cumbernauld this week. I phoned to check first and then explained to the cashier that I had phoned. They had to get a supervisor to override the till but they were fine about it.

I now have a lovely set of bedding, two quilts and pillows which I need as my new free bed from Mfi is a kingsize and my old bed was only a double.

London Colney isn't too far from me..... I feel a short trip coming at weekend. I also thought I saw Stevenage on the list (can't find post with it on now) can anyone confirm whether Stevenage takes them ?
