Crikey, I've just read through your entire thread - you're going to be debt free in no time!

I hate buying clothes for work, it seems like such a waste of money and I've noticed a recent disturbing trend for buying from Marks and Spencers. I'm getting frumpier by the day. :) Charity shops may be the final straw.

If you can bear another few months with your parents I'd definitely save up and buy a flat. You can only get a flat for £60k where I live (Manchester) if you're retirement age.

Flats round here have reduced in price a fair bit. There are just so many for sale.

I have managed to cut my debt pretty quickly. It was just a shock to find myself single with a maxed out credit card and bills arriving for a flat that was stretching me to the limit.

Very pleased with my efforts regarding the debt. I could even look at a rental place but I think I will wait until I have some cold hard cash saved.

Hope all is well with you.

Yes Im doing good thanks! What is your target for the next 100 day challenge?? :p

Hoping to have £4000 when I move away, £1500 of that will be my credit card which is on 0% so Im stoozing it at the moment! :D

I think with what you did on the last one you'll have no problems getting £1800 together! Once that CC is gone get yourself on the Debt Free Roll of Honours List!! Would be good to see your name on there :T

  • Well we have school holidays on 10th and 13th February for mid-term break. I aim to be moving out into my own wee place on or before this date. I have £1000 approx in my "Flat fund" and pretty much everything necessary for the flat. I will buy a new mattress to get rid of any links to my ex!! Other than that, all my stuff is in good condition!

  • Not spent any money today. Was a long day at school due to meetings. Just climbing into bed for warmth and money saving reasons.
