LW how do you make your sausage and egg salad? That sounds like DHs kind of salad
Oh gosh, it's nothing special; 1 veggie Lincolnshire sausage each; I fry them in a wee bit of butter, then leave to cool, plus 1 hard-boiled egg each, and just the usual salady stuff with it - toms, cucumber, celery (for me - Mr LW doesn't care for it) a wee bit of cheese, and we had potato salad ie potatoes microwaved and cooled, and mixed with fresh chives and mayo.

We've just got back from our walk - we did around 3 miles at a very leisurely pace, and stopped off at Bradwell windmill for half an hour, which was interesting.

    hi all
think we may of been in the same place redruby as we went to Devils dyke. The 2 poor men doing the parking looked really busy and at 2.00 for a ice cream:(but it was nice . We then went to the really old pub and had a drink but the food queue was too long

so we came home and picked so reduced bbq bits

No we did not go to devils dyke, but its very close to us, we went to Bignor hill, and then to whiteways cafe for ice cream. I love devils dyke, but tend to go in the winter when its quiet x

Welcome Williacg - this is a really friendly place, so keep posting!

Well today was very successful, got to Ikea to find that it was open normal hours, not as advertised on the website! So we were almost the only peeps there and whizzed round, got ds a nice chest of drawers and bedside table, both for far less than expected too! He then spent this afternoon putting them together and sorting out his room, looking very trendy now, and he will probably never ever leave home! Not that I want him to go just yet, but I'd like to think he may leave one day in the future!

OS stuff has been limited to washing and having a tidy round in the big kitchen food cupboard, and dd1 got rid of the cobwebs for me as I bought a new fluffy duster in poundland lol! I know how to treat myself! Did actually get myself a maternity dress and trousers, both linen and bogof, and cheaper at the till than on the tags, so a bit of a bargain, and hopefully I can resume breathing again!

Hope everyone has a good night, I'm going to menu plan how to use up leftover lamb, chicken and bolognese sauce this week, as well as make more inroads into the freezers!

    Evening All,

Busy day with DD and her BF and DGS, had a lovely BBQ and I made jam and lemon tarts and Chcolate Brownies for dessert. Unfortunately I have fell off the low GI wagon with chocolate, pastry and bread and now I have awful heartburn so will climb back on tomorrow:p

Its definitely cooler today and I think rain forecast tom but we have used our garden furniture more this year than the last few years put tog.

DH is worried cos no work in for next wk and money is really tight. Fingers crossed it will pick up.

Going to watch The Suspicions of Mr Whicher tonight, although I hate the ads on ITV and will tape masterchef as I love it and can't wait to see who wins.

    have a good evening all J x

Shop bought is OK it's HM that you have to watch. Although TBH when I was pg they'd also warned you from stuff from the chiller cabinet too. Honestly you couldn't look at something without fear of doing some irreperable damage to baby <rollseyes>

Welcome and happy Easter to you to :D

Busy doing nothing today. Updated my meal plans (whilst watching re-run of Sharpe :)) and sorted out loads of clothes and pics for a mammoth ebaying session sometime soon. Then went to my mums and did some weeding and playing with the kids there. Have felt really tired today, these late nights dancing are taking longer to get over :o sign I am getting old. shan't stop me going our mind you (much to my mum and dads disgust. They think I shouldn't go anywhere without my husband <rolls eyes>)

    Have a lovely evening :D

ah thanks for clearing that up folks... tbh i loathe mayo anyway so it wouldnt really be an issue. I dont know anyone that likes it in fact and it always annoys when you cant find any sandwiches in shops that dont have it on.
