    Afternoon All

Been up and at em this morning. Both beds washed and re-made, hoovered round and been visited by a friend. We were at friends last night and ended up giving their DD a lift home but the bike carrier was in the back so we had to leave it. Had it delivered this morning! DD at work (extra shift so extra pennies) and I have been tidying up in the garden - already taken one load to the tip!

Bedding waving happily on the line, it's nearly sunny but not that warm but good drying weather. Off back out to the garden now. Enjoy your Easter Monday, hope you are all feeling well. Take care. XX

Am I the only person who didn't have any chocolate yesterday?:o

I didn't have any either! And I have 9 eggs sitting in my spare room (for the work kids, not me!)

I've had a productive morning. Sunbathed for a bit, then cleaned my balcony. Swept it down, got rid of the cobwebs, took all my candle holders off for a clean, cleaned all the glass. Also cleaned the sunlounger my parents gave me which is now drying out on the balcony. Also cleaned kitchen surfaces. Phew!

Sun has disappeared behind cloud now :( so I'm gonna crack on with uni work once I've made lunch

No. None here either. Thankfully I don't have a sweet tooth at all. Unfortunately, hand me a glass of white wine and I'm in trouble.

Miecherox I hope you're feeling better soon.

    Hello All,

    Hope everyone is ok,

What a Valuable lesson I have learned...

In my bid to be super moneysaving, I have made myself so poorly. Decided the other day to have some mayonnaise from the fridge (there was two jars lurking at the back:o) and in my bid to save money and use food up I ate it. Sadly and annoyingly I poisoned myself... Not happy with myself. I haven't been this poorly for a long time, six months pregnant and i've lost 2kgs in as many days (not good). And to top it all the pennies I might have saved have been long ago negated to pay for the lucozade i've needed to re-hydrate.

So while i'm all for saving money I would urge anybody not to be as blase as I was that day...... So annoyed with myself!

Feeling much better today anyway despite being up a few times still in the night so I'm hoping I can take the children somewhere nice, we will see xxxx

    M x

Take care, and I do hope you get well soon and are able to enjoy the good weather.

    :DAfternoon all,

Late posting from me, we were up and away quite early this morning, last day of the holidays, so we thought we would make the most of it.

We went on another walk and Picnic :D (diet must start tomorrow :o), sat at the top of a local hill and beauty spot and ate, then a long walk, and flew the kites, little dog thinks its her job to catch the kite, so spends the whole time chasing them, she occasionally 'catches' one when it crashes to the ground, and then shakes them like she has got a rat :rotfl:, all the people there were laughing and cheering her :D

We then sat and watched the gliders and hand gliders, then made our way home via a local bikers stop, where we had ice cream, and all the big butch bikers fell in love with little dog, who was dribbling for an ice cream :rotfl:

Lovely day in all, going to sit for 1/2 hr, then shower, water the garden etc.

Pasta for dinner, with some bacon, and a creme fraiche mushroom sauce, with ciabatta.

Hugs to all the poorlys xx

last day of hols for us too..only at work tomorrow tho then off again.
Just having quick cup of tea and piece of gorgeous cake I made today...Banana and choc chip cake with crumble topping.....ooooh it is lovely:p
Meatballs and spaghetti for tea later.
Went to co op earlier for some milk and got 2 free range chops and a 2kg free range turkey crown for next to nothing so that is stashed in the freezer.

Miech.....rosie is right you dont need lucozade particularly. Be very careful after this when pregnant...i too would get checked out just to put your mind at rest. I had awful food poisoning a couple of weeks ago from off mayo and off prawns..wasnt good

LW how do you make your sausage and egg salad? That sounds like DHs kind of salad

I've just finished a Stuart Macbride - Dark Blood which was upto his usual excellent standard:T
    .

I managed to buy 'Shatter the Bones' by Stuart Macbride when I was on holiday and we visited Great Malvern, checking out the charity shops Its the latest in the 'Logan' series, and it only cost me a quid:j what a bargain, then my friend got it mixed up in her books that she bought so she's reading it at the moment so I will have to wait until she comes down again We always say we won't buy anymore books but I always manage to come home with at least half a dozen.I found five Ken Follett books in Hay- on-Wye rummaging through the books shops there .Book lovers paradise I think I could easily live there very happily.
All my ironing is done and housework relatively up to date so feet up for some t.v. tonight I think and maybe a bit of knitting
    Have a good evening everyone

    hi all
think we may of been in the same place redruby as we went to Devils dyke. The 2 poor men doing the parking looked really busy and at 2.00 for a ice cream:(but it was nice . We then went to the really old pub and had a drink but the food queue was too long

so we came home and picked so reduced bbq bits
