Morning everyone
Beautiful day again here, loving this sunshine. DH up and gone into work, he's helping his boss out for an hour (not so sure it will be "just an hour"!) but his boss is generally very good to us so I'm not complaining! I'm also getting some peace while he's out!! DS1 still in his pit, DS2 slept at SIL's last night, they are going out today and they will bring him back later.
Had nice day out yesterday, BBQ with friends then came home. Will be endeavouring to crack on with the jobs that need doing, have piece of pork to roast for lunch, will be inviting MIL and FIL for lunch as have a new light fitting, DH not good with electrics but FIL could fit it for me, just need to persuade them they would like to come to lunch .....! Need to crack on otherwise nothing will get done, we're going away in the caravan on Friday morning so need to keep on top of everything as I'm losing Friday again this week.
Have a great Bank Holiday.
Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

Morning all
I was up at 7, read in bed for a bit, then was showered and dressed by 9am  :rotfl:.
Another glorious day here
, but it's seriously interfering with my uni work
. Really need to get on with it but the sunshine is too nice to miss! I'm going to do some this afternoon after I spend the morning on the balcony.
Not really got any plans for today, my friends have been quite boring this weekend and no-one has made any plans, and TBH I fed up of having to organise everything myself!
OS wise - not much
a bit of tidying could be done, DW needs to go on later. I need some food bits but think I'll wait til tomorrow to go food shopping as shops will probably be busy today. Also I need to look for inspiration for my Royal Wedding Brunch, need some low fat ideas.
Have a good Easter monday all

Hello All,
Hope everyone is ok,
What a Valuable lesson I have learned...
In my bid to be super moneysaving, I have made myself so poorly. Decided the other day to have some mayonnaise from the fridge (there was two jars lurking at the back:o) and in my bid to save money and use food up I ate it. Sadly and annoyingly I poisoned myself... Not happy with myself. I haven't been this poorly for a long time, six months pregnant and i've lost 2kgs in as many days (not good). And to top it all the pennies I might have saved have been long ago negated to pay for the lucozade i've needed to re-hydrate.
So while i'm all for saving money I would urge anybody not to be as blase as I was that day...... So annoyed with myself!
Feeling much better today anyway despite being up a few times still in the night so I'm hoping I can take the children somewhere nice, we will see xxxx

Sorry to hear that. We did the same to our dog. Ox tongue that was clearly too old for human consumption. He has punished us by 'depositing' about 4 times this morning. I won't give details. Not nice.0 -
Morning folks.
Miecherox please be careful!!! You can't take risks like that when you are pregnant, but I guess you won't do that again. Must have been a horrible couple of days for you. You don't need to drink too much Lucozade. Maybe a bottle or 2 a day, but as long as you get fluid into you, whether it's water, juice, tea, whatever, that is most important.
I'm going to have another day of not doing much. My leg is still very red and hot, but it feels like the antibiotics are working already. Not too bad when I am on the bed with the leg elevated, but very difficult to stand and walk, so dd1 will just have to look after herself and the little one. Noodles for lunch etc!
I do have lots that needs doing, like planting on my courgettes before they get 'seed tray' bound. I just don't think I can. Just have to watch tv, read and be on here today. Ah well.... think I'll cope:DFather Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

morning!
been a very busy weekend and am off to work later.
Been carbooting - bought another book:) Richard Montinari this time.
Yesterday we went booting, mowed the lawns(takes an hour of hard slog) decluttered and did the ironing and housework.
Made a nice macaroni cheese for my tea yesterday - the others had pork.:)
DHs sciatica is manageable atm as long as he's careful. We've been given a freezer:j my sister is moving and doesn't need it - its a fridge sized one which is perfect for us and quite new.
we're starting to gather a fair amount of stuff to carboot next month.
Hope everyone's well, not caught up yet.
have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Morning everybody-Happy Easter Monday
I was up early today as I suddenly remembered we hadnt put the bins out,and all 4 were due today.DH still snoring so I flung some clothes on.It takes some effort as we have a long steep drive,I was puffing when I got the garden waste one up as it was full and fairly heavy,so was the paper one ( though I have been passing on a few of the newspapers to my neighbour )
Then the dog thought it was time for his walk so I had to oblige.Got back, had a shower and DH thought I'd just got up-the cheek of it :rotfl:
I have been temporarily abandoned by the men-they have gone to the car auctions as we are thinking of changing ready to be more child friendly for when our grandchild arrives :jThey did ask if I minded.I told them to go and have some Dad & Lad time:D Since DS2s been off work with his bad back they have missed being with each other all day ,DS has worked for his Dad since he was 16,now 28.There has been a bit of a breakthrough with his ex GF- she resumed texting this week, then she asked him to go round on Friday and they had a good chat, and she doesnt hate him anymore
I'm hoping the hormones are settling down now she's nearly 20 wks:).Whether they will get back I dont know, but at least they are friendly again. She was at the pub when we dropped him off,and I spotted her as we were driving off-got a very cheery wave.:D
Not decided what is for tea later,I'm a bit BBq'd out (and we've run out of charcoal now)We've had more this week than the entire year last year.Might just do chicken breast and new pots.
Miecherox & Rosie-hope you feel better soon.
HH-:rotfl:like the vaseline tip, though sadly my MIL is no longer with us and she was a good 'un,bless her.
Have a good day all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0
