I've had a bad few days, not eating mega amounts but just a bit of the wrong stuff. I'm now well back on the wagon though :o Had my 12th and last personal training session yesterday so I am on my own now!! I'm also going for ultrasound lipo on my upper arms and back fat - 6 sessions (already had one). The things we will do to look good! :rotfl:

18 days to go!!! I will do it!

myconosray - how much have you got to lose? xx

18 days to go - time flies! you can do it! is ultrasound lipo expensive and how does it work? I'd love to be able to shift some flab from my hips that never goes no matter what!

well... I'm trying to lose 24lbs for my wedding next year (which is sooo achievable I know, seeing as I have already lost 7) but actually want to be down the the right size before I order my dress in august as I really want to have buttons and I think this will effect how much alteration can be done? Plus think that losing a bit of weight might effect my dress choice slightly, I dunno.

I also have to go to a summer ball in a couple of weeks time and am trying to squeeze back into one of my old lovely dresses for that!

Order your dress as late as you can! :D A year before is too long if you're losing weight imho xx

The US lipo is dear but I got it via Groupon so £69 for 6 sessions. It'll be worth it if it shifts the stubborn fat from my upper arms!!!

Wanchai do you think? everyone keeps panicking me about getting it far enough in advance! as well as the lady in the last shop I went to who said that they think the dress I loved there would be discontinued soon! How late can i leave it do you think?

If it's going to be discontinued, maybe order it but at the last minute. And that's assuming that they're telling the truth. Dress shops are so full of !!!!!!, they always try to panic you.

6 months is usually PLENTY of time, my shop said that it would take 6 months but (guess what) my dress arrived in two and a half!

I was quite suspicious about what the shop said but they were selling their sample too so assumed that it was true. Thanks for the advice, feel less panicked now!

I'm trying so desperately to get back on track for a last push before the summer (going on two holidays over the summer I know I'll halt or gain then, but I am aware of this and can get back on track in September particularly as I'm going part time so will have more time to exercise. But the more I can lose before summer, the less damage I'll do over the summer!)

...I saw a close friend at the weekend who I haven't seen since the start of the year. She is always my 'comfort friend' who has always been bigger than me and makes me feel better about my size (harsh I know!) Well, she turned up and has lost 2 stone and looks amazing. She still has lots to lose but just seeing her and how great she looked really spurred me on. I was very good yesterday and according to the scales, lost 2lbs between yesterday morning and this morning. I have had a packet of crisps today...oops...but 130 cals is not the end of the world.

However I am just going to toodle off to the treadmill and make sure I burn at least 200 cals to cancel out the crisps! Eek! I must do this!!

I did have a small victory today...took Year 7 bowling and it went over lunchtime, so the other teachers were taking it in turns to pop out and get something to eat. I reminded myself that I had a healthy salad waiting for me at home and didn't eat a thing (well, I did taste half a chip but I'm only human!) even though I was starving and didn't get my lunch until 3pm.

Right, really am off on the treadmill now!
