Don't get me wrong I love spending time with family over Christmas too and we will do that the rest of the time we are off once we are back but we think now is the time to make the most of being able to do things just the two of us. When we come to have children there is no way our parents would let us go away! heehee

    Hi Everyone,

Wow how exciting Emm - not really thought about Christmas yet. But in my case it can't be just the two of us as step kids will always be there and his mum and step dad. :( Its nice, but they are teenagers who just want to lie in bed all day, have presents and eat loads. We do get boxing day to ourselves, but thats when my brother normally invites us and I have to drive :(

Anyway, enough of that - am being good today. Loads of fruit, chicken salad roll and yogurt for lunch. All free on SW. Hoping for a decent loss this week. :)

Crikey it is a bit early for Christmas talk but all sounds very exciting! I love Christmas and am really excited about our last unmarried one and then our first married one, getting all the cards to Mr and Mrs instead!

On the weight front I put on a bit in the last few weeks as not been very well and have been comfort eating!! But, I have just joined the gym's get fit for summer scheme and went for the first time this morning and feeling very virtuous!

My downfall is my extremely sweet tooth - what healthy sweet snacks do you all have to stave off cravings? I eat fruit but it doesnt really cut it!

Haha sorry for all the early christmas talk (i wont even think any more about it for ages once we have booked accomodation - all needs to be done early to avoid extorionate costs!)

I find the yoghurt coated fruits good for my sweet tooth, as they are a bit more satisfying then fruit on its own.

Just starting my lunch, went down to get it out the fridge and discovered my boss has bought some chocolate brownies which are now calling to me!!

Jaffa cakes- I take 2 or 3 with me for work. Mints. I freeze the little petit filous yogurts n have one of those for pudding at home. It takes so long to eat I am usually ok. :)

I've been chewing gum to try and stave off cravings. Although if they're anything like mine you need the strongest mint you can get your hands on to overwhelm them!

Don't worry Em - its exciting to hear your christmas plans - very jealous. :)

Cravings that is an intersting topic - I am the opposite in that I don't crave anyting sweet... I want crisps and savoury. Yum yum. No idea what to combat them with. I tend to just give in eventually and have a packet. its once in a while so on the whole ok.

Anyway ladies (apologises if there are any chaps), have just developed somach cramps so guess its thats that time of the month again. How does that normally affect you weight wise? I tend to put on the week before and lose on the actual week.

Hmm, I'm the same, the week before is when my cravings are at their worst, so I usually gain or sts the week before then I can get back on track after that.
