Yeah, I am planning on asking for the normal pill though, I have ha it before, but I just got told I couldn't have it long term (migraines). For a month or three it would be fine. Mine can get a bit unpredictable, n I don't want that happening around the wedding!:T0

I heard you can only be on the pill for 5 years or so, then your risk of DVT and stroke goes up. I've been taking it for about 5 years, so I better check and see that I can keep taking it, at least until the wedding.0

I've been on the pill (combined and then mini) for 15 years! You have a v.v.v.v. slightly increased risk of some things, but a v.v.v.v. sightly smaller risk of others. Swings and roundabouts. Just do all the things that you should do to keep your heart healthy, and get your blood pressure checked regularly. Mine's fine (actually a tiny bit on the low side).7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs

I went for a big walk with a friend this evening, it was lovely. And had a sensible dinner of 2 boiled eggs with ONE slice of toast, and a glass of milk (gotta keep the protein levels up). She said that I'd lost weight and was really starting to look slimmer!

Had to go to the supermarket for a top up shop after work so missed the gym and had a chip roll!!! Oops...the wedding is so close and i'm as fat as ever but chip rolls don't help. MUST stay focussed!!!
I stopped the pill a few years ago, started making me feel quite sick, just means im now loaded with painkillers at tom.0 -

Sounds like everyone had ood evenings
I am debating going on the pill again - but last time it did make me put on weight

I know I shouldn't, but weighed myself on my scales this morning and apparently have lost 3lb. Fingers crossed thats really the case... we'll see what happens tomorrow night. After all the fruit and veg I've eaten over the last few days - I deserve to have lost0 -

I've been bad the past few weeks. I have been eating healthy meals and then having unhealthy snacks - chocolate and biscuits are evil!My back is still sore, so still can't exercise properly, went to Zumba on Monday night and had to sit out of a lot of the dances.My other dance class is tonight - so we'll see how it goes. I need to keep active.Haven't weighed myself since last Saturday, so might check tomorrow morning just to see.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0
