Well, I went to the gym, worked my *** off for an hour and then went for a jacuzzi (so soothing) and felt v. proud of myself!!! Came home, ate a healthy protein-based dinner and drank 2 glasses of milk - for some reason I crave milk when I'm exercising!!!

johanna, how did you get on?

Anyhoo, wish me luck for tomorrow's WI xx

Wow I am feeling out of place here with all the gym talk! lol. Well done to those who are going :) There is one of the outside gyms being built at the moment in the park over the road from me which I may have a go on once its done. It looks fun.

I had porridge for breakfast and have got carrot & cucumber sticks, with grapes, yogurt coated raspberries and a cerial bar for lunch. Need to go shopping on my way home as not got much fresh stuff left.

We had a tesco delivery last night, but they had no bread! So need to go to sainsbury at lunch now.

So Wanchai... How did it go? Or is it an evening weigh in?

It's really irritating when they do that isn't it! Last time we got no pasta or tomato sauce, there must have been SOME in the store so why didn't they substitute it.

Yeah hope it went well this morning Wanchai :)

Oh, in other news DH and I are going to Edinburgh zoo for chrsitmas day! SO excited :) We are having 4 nights in Edinburgh to celebrate 10 years together and our first christmas as a married couple.

Oh that's so exiting! :D we r spending our first Christmas alone, and as a married couple. Normally we head down to parents, but cos of the way Xmas falls this year we can't as we also don't have any leave apart from Xmas eve. I'm looking forward to it though, just trying to convince OH to go out so we don't have to cook! :rotfl:

We had it on our own for the first time last year as we didn't know when DH would be working (thought he might have to work xmas eve and then hard to get home with limited public transport). We had boxing day on our own too as there was no public transport and my parents didnt want to drive up to us. It was lovely having it just the two of us and then we had a few days after christmas visiting family. I am so excited to go back to the venue for christmas dinner. Plus we know the food is amazing! So excited :) I am sure you will really enjoy having your first christmas on your own Jo :)
