Oh dear! Well I made a marble cake yesterday! :rotfl: so doesn't help with the diet... But I have brought half into work to share.
yes, this time I am the person with the tempting food! Mwah ha ha! (evil laugh)
I am meeting the seamstress on Wednesday.kind if looking forward to it, but also worrying that she will say she can't do anything with it! which is silly I know! It didn't help that I had a dream last night that I went n her assistant (bcos she couldn't be bothered) said it would cost £1000 to adjust! :rotfl:

I had a lovely lazy weekend but ate too much! FIL came up with our wedding stuff too so I have my dress back and we have our cards etc

Ooohhh not long now Hadleyenjoy all the planning and everything, I really miss it!
Jo I made another cake on friday too as I had too much butter icing left from the cupcakes but I made one that DH likes and I don't so that's ok.0 -
Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining
Not getting hitched till next September but am hoping to lose a bit of weight before then. Last year I went crazy with exercise and a strict diet and lost about 9/10 lbs over 3 months but I was so tired and grumpy that it just wasn't sustainable.
After a few months of being not so good I weighed myself and was relieved to find out I had only put on 4.5lbs. For the past 3 weeks I have been good and going to 3 Zumba classes a week and doing a 30 minute powerhoop class and I have managed to lose 5lbs so I am now just under my previous lowest weight
In an ideal world I would lose about 40lbs to be an my 'ideal' weight but thats a) not going to happen and b) not MY ideal weight! I like my curves but could do with losing a few inches. I had my first dress shopping experience Saturday and realy felt amazing in the dresses even at my current weight so at least I know it's not life or death :rotfl:
I don't do 'diets' as such, I find them too restrictive and end up binging so I am just trying to make better choices and keep up the Zumba.
Will update as I go, good luck everyone :j
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a good weekend.
fantastic news about the dress Daisie :T
Welcome back Sweeti.
Not diet related, but I am finally sending out my invites for my wedding in August. yes I know its lateFingers crossed, I'll start to get some replies.
Anyway, onl about 8 weeks till my 1st dress fitting. Fingers crossed it will fit as have lost a stone and a half since I brought it, but really want to shift some more. Dress is size 14 (but as Daiseie has experienced thats wedding dress sizing), not really that bothered what the size is as such, but would like to take advantage of the 2 sizes or so I think it can be taken in. So - am trying very very hard to be good.
Please help me - though to ward you I did shout at OH yesterday when he said I shouldn't have wine. But that was mainly cause he then sat there with a beer.
Hi Hadley...we plan to send ours out this day next week for 11 August and people have been saying to us that we are sending them out very early! I'm not sure of it's a Northern Ireland thing or something to send them quite close to the wedding?? Me, my boyfriend and my best friend spent all day yesterday making the day invites! We had 75 to do, it was really hard work and not even completely finished yet! We have them sitting under heavy books and have RSVPs to stick once the glue has dried and they are well stuck together.
Diet wise...having reviewed my eating this weekend...I had a chip with kebab sauce on Friday night, a burger for lunch and fish and chips for dinner on Saturday and a Chinese for dinner last night!!!!!!! What was I thinking?!!!! Really gotta get on it here as I would like to lose 4 more lbs at least before my first dress fitting on 21 June!!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
My savings: £4878.54/£7000
Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000
Total:£7564.11/£10 000 (as at 26/10/14)0 -
I don't think now for August is early. It will practically be June! It will only what, nearly 2 months?? N if people have to book accommodation etc it's best to be prepared. We r sendin our (first batch at least) invites out in June. But RSVP date of 1st Sept. and we have people coming from abroad, so they need to book flights etc.:T0

Hey Hadley *waves*. If it makes you feel any better, my oh still hasn't finished his guest list yet- in fact, he hasn't even looked at it . I have given him a deadline of Wednesday. If he still hasn't done it by then I will do it myself, and will not take kindly to him moaning I have/haven't invited certain people's partners if he can't take the time to look at it himself! Just want to get the chuffing things sent out now!!

We gave our initations out in December for our April wedding. We didn't have an RSVP date though as we only had a small wedding and everyone had already booked their flights and accomodation so we knew they were coming! Our intivations weren't really needed but we wanted to, that's why I did them as the chocolate slabs (something a bit different). Ooohhh I miss all the planning! I took my BM's dress strap out of my purse yesterday, I no longer need to colour match things
lol. However we have been married a month today!!
yay. And once I get the photos done I will be able to make my honeymoon book, the evening photo album and then update my 'wedding planning' book.

Wow a month today! That went quickly Em! Just think a month today I was dying in Oxford! :rotfl: really shouldn't have let OH talk me into going away! :rotfl:
Talking about OH talking me into things... He talked me into buying a nespresso machine on Saturday...!:T0 -
