Oh sorry Daisi.
if it's the mediation then u really need to stop beating yourself up. It's better to be healthy than thin! I know you tend to get tired at work, but what do u usually do / eat at the weekend?
N I second what em said about having curves. The model wearin my dress is straight up/ down, n I think I look better in the dress because I have a tiny waist in comparison to my hips etc. NOT saying I look better than the model! :rotfl::T0 -
Couldn't agree more with what the above people have said. When I was first measured for my dress I was very thin for me. Not sickly thin just had lost a bit of weight round the middle. When I ordered my dress I was measured again and I had out on two inches on my waist. Have I lost them in the eight months it's been? No chance! If anything I've probs out one more on lol! I am gymming more regularly now, and eating salad and fruit at work and not much at home and do feel better about myself but no chance of the weight coming off. But I still think I look nice in my dress. At the end of the day your fianc! loves YOU, for everything, not just how you look, and would much rather you were healthy than not. I also think the more you worry about it the worse it can be/get. Try and just make small changes to your lifestyle instead of going full whack major changes. And stop worrying, focus on coming off your medsMarried my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j0

Haha stick with it Jo! You have been much better than me. I have been baking St Clements cupcakes! heehee. They are for a friend at work's birthday though so we won't have them all.
Hope you are feeling a bit better Daisie0 -
Aww thank you everyone
I weighed myself this morning and seemed to have gained back the couple of lbs I lost last week.
Weekends are probably my undoing although I try not to be TOO bad. It tends to be just a late breakfast and dinner, but bigger portions and more 'naughty' food than in the week - oh, and wine! - but I do usually do some exercise at the weekend too. I don't know. Maybe I'm not doing enough to be losing lots but I'm definitely, definitely not eating enough to be GAINING weight, which is what I have been. So it must be the medication. I saw my neurologist again the other week and once again he said the only way not to gain weight on this medication would be if you don't eat.
On the plus side though, the medication must be working as I'm feeling a lot better. Next week is my first full, heavy week back at work so on the one hand, I really won't be feeling up to doing any exercise, but on the other - I will be on my feet all day (only three frees in the whole week! eek.) and not have much time to eat either. I think after I've got that week out of the way I just need to really try to build some exercise into my routine again and just keep trying.
I'm trying to be positive...just not really feeling it at the moment!0 -
Good luck with your new gym programme jo!0

I echo what others said Daisie, it's more important to be healthy. Glad you at least feel the medication is helping.
I STS this week, slightly disappointed but when I think about how much I ate and drank over the weekend it's not surprising. Will be better this week. Just had my porridge and have got melon, pineapple, yoghurt coated raspberries, a penguin and single choc for lunch.
Hope everyone has a good day0 -
Well I either STS, lost lb or lost 1lb depending on how I look at it! :rotfl: from last fri morning I have lost 2, from Friday evening STS. So last Friday I took an average of 9 1/2 and I lost one off that.
so I am happy.
:T0 -
And I have finished actual work for the day! :j got some training session at 1.30, but it takes forever to get there. Taking my lunch hour (and a half) in the city and meeting a friend for lunch!:T0

Well I stayed the same this week, but am still chuffed because I went completely overboard last weekend! Good work ladies!0
