Thanks rups. I am actually banning myself from the kitchen just in case.

I don't think a bit of a Lindt egg will hurt too much. Don't feel bad.

They keep going on about water making you feel full. It doesn't make me full. It makes me pee. Maybe it works by making you go to the loo so much you don't have time to eat.

Arghh I am actually fantasising about getting an easter egg, and slowly peeling the foil off it, before just biting into it whole.

    Curses.

noo dont think of that.. try what Paul McKenna says, Yep here I go again and i think next time i go for a bad thing, i shall say that to myself.

Picture yourself how would you like to be, how you would like to be dressed and how slim you want to see yourself. and then also picture the egg with nasty things on it like worms or ants and that should put you off.

    lol

yeah i agree with water,it makes me pee. actually what worked also was coffee. i had that after breakfast and it made me feel full till lunch time. :0) coffee now would be a bad idea as you may not be able to sleep but try the visualising and i hope that helps! :0)

Cheers rups. I've actually been staring at photos of my dress which seems to be helping a bit.

And chanting to myself "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". If H2B comes down stairs now, he'll think I've lost it.

Haha I've got such a long way to go before I'm skinny. I'll settle for a dress that fastens and photos without flappy bingo wings :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done to all of you who are doing well and seeing the numbers go down  (low cal beer obviously!!) Haven't been on for a while as I've been real bad :( I have gone and confessed all on the other board where my weight gain has been recorded to shame me into improving. As if going to get measured for my dress on Saturday isn't incentive enough!! I'm still suffering from not having been able to be as active as I wanted - flaming whiplash injuries since mid March have been a total pain in more than just the physical sense! And Easter didnt help - days off work having just chill time with too much time to graze. But this week I have been much better. I also have Paul McKenna and I also fall asleep listening to him but I'm hoping something goes in subconsciously; he does say you may not remember but will just obey and today I actually put a caramel wafer back as I realised I didn't actually want it :j
I don't worry so much about my meals - my problem is the snacks in between and in the evening and that's where I've behaved this week. Am keeping fingers crossed for my weigh in on Sunday

good luck for Sunday ellay. Hope it all goes well. I tend to avoid the scales as I hate them :0(

I agree about the snacking. I went and got some fruit so in case I get hungry, I am not looking at our naughty corner at work and can have fruit instead. I used to hate salads but have found a new love in them, esp as Marks make some lovely ones.

I guess we can eat as healthily as we can and exercise. :0) A lovely day out there today, so that should help us all visualise us in our lovely summer clothes and also our wedding dresses!!!yay!! :0)

    Hi all!

Well, after declaring my intentions to lose weight I was very naughty for about a week :o, but decided to start afresh last week. I am not following any strict plan, just eating most of what I would normally eat, but with larger portions of veg and smaller ones of pizza, chips, and chocolate! And getting a bit more excercise in - mostly walking and gardening, as I hate the gym!

    And I have lost 1lb - yay!

Oh, and I work in a chocolate shop, so am surrounded by naughty food all day!!! You'd think I'd get sick of the sight of chocolate, but oh no.... :rotfl:

wow you must have exceptional will power working in a place like that! Thankfully I crave chocolate but can only have a bit till i start feeling sick, however i still need the sweet stuff everyday!! Like you said, eat what you can and eat less of the not-so-healthy stuff. I can def go with that. think its time to get reading that book again as it helped my thinking a bit! Well done on losing the 1lb. it is def something!!!:0)

Looking forward to my step class at lunch. lol

btw has anyone ever tried the maxitone stuff?I did and lasted a day on it, as the shakes were vile!! yuck!

You must have amazing will power sapphire, I'd be the size of a house.

Good luck for your class today Rups.

Well, I managed to avoid temptation yesterday and just have to hold out for today which might be difficult because someone in here is munching chocolate and it smells so nice. Gym at lunchtime which might help, but I am starving already.

The idea of shakes is my worst nightmare. I feel a bit cheated with soup so shakes would make me want to cry.

well done codemonkey! I am so pleased for you. You all are making me more determined day-by-day. thanks!! :0)

what class are you doing today? Or will you be using the gym? Have fun there :0)

At the mo, work is so boring. I might be made redundant soon and the job is so boring, and all it makes me do is think about food! Not Good. That is the main reason I get out to go to the gym at lunch, even though I need more time there!

Sorry to hear that work isn't good. I think its worse when you're bored because you just think about food all the time or eat as a way to pass the time.

I've joined the gym in the basement of my office building. It's just a room with machines and weights so no classes but its cheap and I have no excuse not to go. Only trouble is there are glass panels in the door and everyone leaving the office to get to the car park comes by and has a good look. They're probably drawn by my red face.

I think it helps that I'm tracking the days on my calendar. Green for good, red for bad, yellow for weekends and special days. I want to see a calendar month with only green and yellow on it and the red ones really stand out.

Has anyone on here had any success with stuff like lipobind or the gel caps that are supposed to fill you up. I can't help being drawn to them even though I know they're probably nonsense.
