Someone make me go to the gym. I can't tear myself away from the election results.

Did you go to the gym then? I nearly did not go but then forced myself to. It is so hard when people here always want to go to the pub for lunch and I was tempted, but am eating out tonight, so thought about that and said no. Am exhausted from the step class though. I am trying not to focus on whether I am hungry or thirsty, so keep gulping down water. Its horrible to have an office job. I preferred it in the lab where i was on my feet!

so any good results then regarding the elections?

ps. Have not heard about the lipobind or gel caps. I think I tend to stay away from all that esp as when i recently tried the maxitone plan, I felt so sick. :0(

A personal trainer told me today that it would help, depending on the class i did, to have some skimmed milk with my lunch, as that would help me feel fuller and i am also getting protein to help my muscles repair. I tried that and I did feel full.I am not hungry yet but the boredom's making me think of food. grrr!!

I did go to the gym. Really tired now and my pecs are achy, which I suppose is a good thing. I hope I've not overdone things.

Oooh, the guy who wrote my diet plan suggested that, but said full fat milk is better (he's not very keen on low fat or low sugar stuff). I'm not keen on full fat or skimmed but I love semi-skimmed so I might try that. Milk always seems to call for bar of chocolate to go with it.

The election coverage was really interesting. I'm in Scotland, and just watching all the major parties wipe out was...unusual.

Just doing my weekly shop and choosing a treat for the weekend. No doubt it will go a little something like this. :EasterBun

well I gave in to temptation this morning....no, I didn't eat but I weighed myself. I usually weigh on a Sunday, really to give me something to update on the diet thread on one of the other boards, but I couldnt resist a peek to see how I was doing...and I'm 2lbs lighter than last Sunday :j
Now to keep my good work up over the weekend...especially as it's OH's birthday on Sunday and we might be going out for a meal

Weighed myself this morning and I've lost the 2lbs I put on over Easter, so pleased about that :j

    b - skipped (oops)
l - tuna sandwich, melon and half a slice of ginger cake
    s - walkers baked crisps
t - beans on toast, 2 jaffa cakes.

I need to force myself to eat breakfast, I'm really bad at that.

I just need to hold out for a couple of hours, then when I get up I can eat chocolate.

    Here's what I've eaten today
    b - raspberry porridge
l - golden syrup porridge with a handful of raisins (forgot my lunch this morning and after the gym I was too keen to get back to the election coverage to go out and buy something else - it was nommy though)
d - turkey kievs and onion rings dunked in sweet chilli sauce (it's allowed - fitted on a small plate)

I also did 25 minutes cardio followed by strength and abs.

Ok. I know I said I wasn't going to bother with scales.

But I stood on them when I got up and I've lost 5lbs!!

Wow thats great codemonkey, well done!

i've not been so good - lost 1/2 a lb last week and put it on this week. Bit gutted, but must carry on. Im glad all the bank holidays, bbqs and parties are now out of the way now!

At least you didn't gain any more Cherry. 1/2 isn't too much to fluctuate. Remember that you gain/lose weight depending on where you are in your cycle, so it may be that you lose more next week.

As for mine, realistically, probably a lot of that was water weight, but my stomach feels a bit firmer so I'm heading in the right direction. Measured my waist this morning and my dress will do up, but I'd like it to be comfortable, so another inch would be good whilst allowing room for stress bloating.

I did have a celebratory pop tart earlier but felt full before I finished it

Oh and well done on the weight loss slowly fading. Somehow I managed to miss your post.
