Glad it isn't too bad Rups. Probably best that you are just getting on with work and people aren't focusing on it.

That's the thing with all the diet programs; they are just so expensive.

Thanks Rups :) I try and have different things to keep it interesting. I also just love cooking so enjoy making stuff. My favourite things are baking though which aren't healthy! Must resist for now. Not long till the wedding now so HAVE to be good.

    Hi Everyone,

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend and Rups sounds like your 1st day back is going ok.

I have been good foodwise this weekend - but have had a few glasses of wine. Whoops. :o Still will try to be good over the next few days till Thursday. I want/need to lose. Am still visualising losing 3 lbs, but know that won't happen really, but its a goal. :)

Have soup and fruit for lunch and am going to make a SW cottage pie later. So feeling quite pleased with myself so far. :)

Thanks Hollie. At the mo, they girls and guys are getting on with their work. It was just one sweet guy in the morning who thought i was on holiday somewhere, and when he asked me, i just burst out crying. :( am better now and no one is asking so its prob best this way.

i love roast dinners. been begging hubby to make me one as he makes it perfect. i am rubbish at roasts as have been brought up making curries and chapatis. :)
    Sending u hugs

I love roasts, lamb being my fave.Wish my OH could cook, beans on toast is as far as it goes:rotfl:

yes diety things are expensive. have to avoid that as trying to save, so must make the most of some good websites and recipes for now. good food is such a good website and have easy recipes. the other thing is time. Tonight hubby has another comedy competition and we wont be home till late so we have to come home and rush to make tomorrow's lunch as we have kung fu. (am going to try going and take it easy). so that will be a mission. On Wed, hubby's out and I might meet a friend.. Its so weird with not a lot of time in the evenings. need foward-planning really. Think this weekend, will have to make lots of soup etc and freeze stuff so i know its there to take out and take to work!

Yeah that 's the problem if you are busy it's hard to fit in making stuff. The best thing is to try and be prepared but it is much easier said than done!

My lunch is pretty yummy today :)

It's good that you are back at work and out of the house Rups- and not just for your bank balance! :rotfl:

hollie roast chicken isnt bad! Aslong as you leave off the skin, 1/2 a chicken breast is around 150cals. Its just bad if you have stuffing, roast pots, yorkshire puds and gravy! Had lunch far too early today so ended up snacking later. Weigh in tomorrow!
