:rotfl:I love that Jo. with all that swimming you've been doing the mirror must be getting less of a shock each day. :)

If I weigh at home (which I shouldn't do it just gets me worked up) I'm always there in the old undies!! :o Still noone sees.

Well almost off now - finish work at 5. Need to do washing up which darling SD2B is supposed to do, then go raid the wardrobe... Don't think the ladies (and gents now) are ready for me in my undies yet.

Have a good evening everyone and I am hoping that I'll be really happy to update you all on my massive lose tomorrow.

    Evening everyone,

Hope everyone has had a good day :) I went to my course which was much better than last weeks (no exam after!!) I took a nice healthy lunch with me only to discover they fed us free. Seemed silly to waste a free lunch so will have the lunch I made tomorrow instead. However the lunch provided was vegetable korma and then chocolate cake. Yummy but not very healthy.

Thanks Jo! I'll do my weigh in tomorrow when I'm at my parents, don't have a scale here lol Will have to make sure I don't eat much before hand.

Just got back from my walk, am trying to go 4-5 times per week for at least 30mins each time. It's not going too badly but when it's this cold I'm not exactly raring to go :rotfl: Today the cold even gave me a nose bleed :(

The walk means I'm 200 cals under for today, also not bad cause dinner was half a pizza at 600+!!! Definitely need to be under as I couldn't resist donuts on Tuesday =/

Fingers crossed for everyone's weigh ins!

    Hi sk00bie.welcome here. :)

well ladies. i have sinned sinned and sinned. everytime i go out and meet someone, i end up being bad! :( i left home hungry (only had a banana) and was agitated. then my friend she would meet me after she finished work. so i walked around the shopping centre buying some bday/congrats cards for my bro. Then I got so hungry that i went into Hollands and baratts and bought those chili rice crackers and ate the WHOLE bag. Then more walking and I started getting tired but went into Debenhams and ended up buying snow boots. I refuse to buy Uggs as everyone wears them, but there was a massive sale on Nine West stuff and I ended up getting these boots reduced to 29 pounds from 129!! bargain! i never get these.

then i was tired and went to the cafe, and had a decaff coffee and a scone with lots of cream and jam and then felt sick!

friend came there, and she was starving and then i went with her to eat Thai food and even had a starter! god i am such a pig. I am exploding big time. I had some dumplings and then had some red curry with rice. i feel so yuck now that could explode!
having some peppermint tea hoping that i feel less full! :-( ouch

Oh no Rups, sorry you're feeling yucky :(

It's so hard eating out though, the temptation is too much! My family went out for a meal last week for my Dad's birthday, I had starter, main and pudding!!! That needed a few walks to get back on track from :rotfl:

The only place I find I can eat out and not over do it is Pizza Express cause I can have the pizza with salad in the middle!

Hope the peppermint tea does the trick :)

  • Hi girls,

    I'm back.

It was my Dad's funeral today, emotional, awful day, but it was a nice send off. I managed to read the eulogy I'd written without crying too much, I'm glad I did it, there were thing I felt I wanted to say.

This last week I've fluctuated between eating nothing all day because I feel sick and stuffing myself with crisps/chocolate other days. Goodness knows what this means for my diet, I'm not going to weigh myself until next week.

I went to the gym tonight and ran 5k, further than I've run in a long time. I felt like I needed to do something to clear my head, the alternative was more crying.
I also received an email from Cancer Research today asking me to consider running a race for them, I think I will put my name down for a 10k, it will give me something to aim for.

Only 12 weeks until my wedding now. Ahhhhhh! Time to step it up if I want to actually get into my dress. :rotfl:

I haven't had chance to read back through all the posts. Hope the scales are showing a loss for you all this week. xx

Wow complete bargin! I always think uggs look so cozy but would never pay the money for them. I had olives and oatcakes from my graze box then went to the gym. I have until may before they start fitting my dress, cant wait for it to arrive should be this week. I didnt have a healthy lunch, roll + links AND roast potatoes, oops!

Giddy im so sorry to hear about your dad, well done for staying so strong! 5k is excellent. I read in a mag about someone aiming to do 5k in 30 mins but i can only manage just over 3.

Giddy, sorry to hear about your dad. xx

Well I put on 3lb this week, although I said I was going to be good, I was eating tons of carbs this week. Oh well, must be good today, back up to trying to lose 2 stone before May!
