yes exactly Em, and i am very much like that. Once i fall into a habit of eating for comfort, then that is it!! i did at uni and when my ex used to feed me KFC hehe, and i became so fat..
Hadley your safari honeymoon sounds amazing.. Kuoni are a good company to be honest. are they really nearly going bust? i know this sounds silly but being from Kenya, if you can, and if you going to a safari country, if you can book a safari from there, it will be much cheaper. i know that is difficult but if you can find some local travel agents there, and go to them or ask via your hotel it will be cheaper.where are u thinking of going?

Thanks hadley, will do. hehe. been good as gave up drinking but a glass wont harm me.
am not on much caffeine as i used to be so will stick to that as well. as long as i get my cuppa in the morning, i am fine. think will switch to green tea (even that has caffeine) and my peppermint.

Thanks Jo. I'll have a look at that. A bit worried about asking people for money directly, but really don't need any presents as such. Can't get away with not having anything so this seemed a good way forward.
Rups - no haven't heard anything bad about Kuoni. But its just so many companies are going under even big ones. I know they have a shop near me and was hoping they might tailor make something for us. Would love to be brave enough to go and book something when we got there, but wouldn't know where to start. A colleague has just sent me a link to a company called Explore - so will have a look on their web site as well.
Thanks for all your help guys. :T0 -

Hadley your honeymoon sounds so exciting
Rups (and anyone else who fancies it) that recipe is as follows:
8 oz green lentils (soaked)
2 bay leaves
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 onion
6 oz grated cheese
half tin of chopped tomatoes
2 eggs
fresh/dried mixed herbs (whichever you have)
salt and pepper
oven 180 degrees/ gas mark 4
Drain the soaked lentils, cover with fresh water, add the bay leaves and garlic; boil until tender (aprox 20-30 minutes)
Drain and mash roughly
Chop the onion and add it to the lentils before adding the cheese, tomatoes and eggs (beaten before they are added). Mix before seasoning with the herbs, salt and pepper.
Mix well before placing them into a loaf tin and bake for an hour. Check with a knife (it should come out clean).
Leave to cool for 15 minutes in the tin before turning it out.
You can either eat it warm or cold
Hope everyone has a great weekendI can't wait to go get my dress
got fajitas for dinner, yummy!

Afternoon all,
hope everyone's weekends are going well?
em, how was the dress? so exciting!! yay!
thanks for the recipe too. it looks really easy. i have loads of the green lentils.i made so much of them the other day and was struggling to finish them off so got rid of them..
been trying to eat good but we have doing a lot of spag/bolog and i am getting sick of it now.i managed to bake a banana cake. woo hoo. the last time i tried it, i made a mess of it. it was lovely yest and wish could send you girls a slice. cant wait to have some with tea. it pretty much has lots of caster sugar and butter (the usual) but it is yum if i say so myself. hehe..:rotfl: i am only saying that because i make a mess of things normally, even with simple recipes.
im tired now after washing up a bit. still struggling with energy levels but am getting there.
want to hibernate and sleep.. hope all is well with you all. xxxBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Hey,
My weekend is going really well. My dress is perfect! I love it so much. It is too long but otherwise fits brilliantly (I am slightly disappointed it's not too big as have lost a stone since I ordered it but not to worry. It makes me look really slim and shows of my figure really well so I should be happy with that.)
Yeah the lentil roast is really easy to make and I find it really yummy (that is what I have on Christmas day) OOhhh banana cake. Sounds yummy Rups, enjoy
Hope everyone is having a great weekend xx0 -
ah excellent Em!
its great when you are happy with your dress. i want to wear mine now. hehe. had to pack it away into the loft the other day. Hubby suggested i sell it and i was like NO WAY!!!
having a sandwich with Danish salami and cheese now. yuck.. nothing else that i can make quickly as am starving.
