olokia that is horrible but good on you for sticking to your guns. you both have the time that you both want. forget what others want. we had all that and in the end we just had to stand up to my mum and say this is how we are doing it! she said the same thing but whenever the guests went, they did. hehe :rotfl:

i was naughty last night. after having those apples slices, i was walking home with hubby, and we passed the chip shop so we went in and had a small portion of chips. grrr.. it was the smell. :-( then we went home, and as i have been feeling so tired, had a nap. oops. then woke up and bless hubby, he made some dinner and we had pork chops at 10pm. we are pigs! :rotfl:

Right, didn't have soup last night as I wasn't hungry... Just had the bread roll. Then had the hot chocolate.
Didn't get up early today, but I was actually awake enough to get up, and that's half way there! (even if I didn't get up!)
Am still going to the gym after work? an I have a cup of left over soup to eat before I go. Then soup for tea.

Off diet topic... On to wedding topic... I am thinkin of doing a 'how to be a bridesmaid' gift for my bridesmaids, as I am having a lot of hassle with them. How can I do it without insulting them? I'm thinking of maybe doing it something like this:



Obviously not with a story but with some amusing guidelines, Like 1) support The Bride (she is always right!)

Oh no, Olokia, thats not good! Our ceremony is at 2, we could only choose between 2 and 4 as we are having a civil ceremony and those were the only times the registrar would come to the hotel. I think a ceremony at 2 leaves you enough time for photos etc to be taken and you have enough time to get to speak to all your guests. Also, I'm greedy and dont want our meal to be too late!

We are having our ceremony at 1. We originally wanted September tho, but the only time for sept was 11. And that was too early. We really wanted 1 o'clock more than we wanted September... And it all worked out for the best, despite MiL2B trying to convince us that the last week in Sept and the first week in Oct have totally different weather! Ummm it's a weeks difference!

it was weird what weather we had as we wanted end of sept but we couldnt till the 1st of oct and we had that hottest day of the year weekend. it was weird but lovely. i was melting. lol

Hey Rups, Just been lurking on the pregnancy thread and the Princess Royal University Hospital (the one nearish croydon not haywards heath) was where my brother was born hehe. Used to go to school 2 minutes away from there.

Basically my BM (not my CBM) are messing me and her around a bit, n I realised I hadn't really said what is expected of them. So thought maybe if I put it in a nice way etc...

I may also do one for the ushers and best man, just so they know what is expected... We are the first of our friends to get married, so the first time for many of being in the wedding party.) n it will be my first wedding!! That I have been invited to! (I'm countin it!)

Morning everyone,

I was bad last night and went to pub and had a couple of glasses of wine.

Diet will definately have to start tomorrow. After the shock of my weight at SW - I'll definately be up to getting back on track. :eek:

My birthday is the 1st October and its normally great weather, as Rups says. We went to the beach and ate ice cream etc this (whoops I mean last ) year. OH's birthday is the 6th October and also normally amazing.

olokia i am so rubbish.. hehe someone recomended that hosp and when i looked it up, i ended up looking at the one in haywards heath and of course when i told DH, he said no! lol. it was till the lady double checked with me and sent me a link, iw as like oops. is it a good one then? i have been told to avoid the mayday.

jo its def a good idea to let BMs know what is expected otherwise they start doing their own stuff. lol. luckily for me in the end it worked out but i couldnt even get one ofthem to commit properly and then had to scrap her, which she didnt mind, as she was shy to be one in the first place.
