Well done Sugar!
I always 'test' them too Rups! Wouldn't want to give anyone something which isn't brilliant heehee.
I was quite good yesterday evening. I went into thorntons (the one by us is closing down) and looked but managed to stop myself buying anything even though I love their turkish delight bars which are coated in chocolate. Then made mince and dumplings for dinner which was yummy. HAve got left overs for today and tomorrows lunch.0 -
well done Em. its nice when you have a healthy dinner and then you can bring some left overs in. i feel bad now. :0( ok todays lunch is healthy-ish (noodles).
Just went and had my flu jab now and hope my arms not sore as i am def doing yoga today!Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I almost always make too much dinner! haha so it means if there is enough it does another day's dinner if not I have it for lunch to use it up.
Ouch. I had having jabs and things. I don't like the needle when I give blood so I have to look away. Doesn't help that they take ages to find a vein
There are still so many chocolate biscuits in the kitchen tempting me! I really want to stay positive though. My mum was good last week and lost 4 lb so if I am good I know the weight should come off. That's the idea anyway.0 -
Well the spin class didn't hurt me because of EDS but I think I overdid the exercise as I have so much muscle pain.
Yesterday morning at my interview I was slightly stiff but ok to walk around and sit but by yesterday evening I couldn't stand up without pain and going up and down the stairs was very difficult. Today I can hardly walk and it's soooo painful.
I knew my muscles were working hard but I didn't think this much. I don't think I was like this after BMF. Definitely going back to spin class as it definitely is a good exercise but I can't go back for a few days and then I will be taking it a bit slower.
Well done Sugarwalsh on the loss.0 -
Hi All,
Just popped in quickly as really busy hereWell guess shouldn't complain as hopefully the day might go a bit quicker.
Haven't had chance to go through all your posts - but noticed you did really well at SW Slow - well done.:j I need to get my finger out. Doesn't look like I make my SW meeting this week (thursday) as staying round my mum's whilst step dad is in hospital for heart surgery. But am determined to lose. when I go back the week after want to have lost well over a stone... think I had about 3lbs to go to get there at last Thursday weigh in.
Anyway, had better go adn write some more letters.
Take care.0 -

Megan
:T well done Megan.
I'm hoping for the half stone this week, but I've been weighing myself every morning (I know you shouldn't, but I just can't help it!) and the scales aren't moving, still exactly the same as last week. I do have spinning tonight, boot camp tomorrow and spinning on Thursday before my weigh in though, hoping that will move the number at least a little in the right direction.
Bootcamp is so embarrasing, I just can't hold my own bodyweight with my arms, I'm so weak! I'm the only one who has to have her knees on the floor all the time, or my arms just give way.
I'm determined to have a good food day today. Boiled egg and a piece of toast for breakfast, soup and a banana for lunch, chicken and veg for tea. Mind you I start with these good intentions every day.
Hope you all have great days ladies. :TDebt at 1/5/09 £21,996 _pale_

i hope you ladies plan to keep to weight off once married also and not just shedding for the wedding and put back on again0
-
trust me it IS possible as i am a live example.. Somewhat after the wedding, you naturally feel relaxed and esp in weather like this, where comfort food is much nicer, it is def easier.:(
took me ages to get on here as it kept asking me to sign in. grrr
i was booked up for yoga, but as i had a flu jab and my arm was hurting, i didnt go, but i was lucky enough to book into spin (with one space left) and i died, as i havent done spin class for months and months and i was not breathing well.it was a good class so will go back..tomorrow is pump.! yay
what made me feel bad was this guy in my team who is a gym freak and goes everyday and even plays football in the morning before work. he looks good etc etc. he said to me before the wedding i was so dedicated and he said i should cancel my membership! i wanted to kill him. I am worse than before but i still go every week! haha :rotfl:Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I am not saying it doesn't happen Rups, just that you don't go in with the intention of loosing the weight just to put it on again. I lost 2 stone before about 6 years ago now and then put it back on plus some, but never through purposeful weight gain intentions. It just happens, like you say, you get comfortable.
Glad you enjoyed spinI am too much of a wimp. I know I should join a gym but I just can't seem to make myself
