Rups it is so much harder when the person you are with doesn't help or give any encouragement. My OH is normally goods and encouraging but sometimes tempts me to be naughty if he has eaten lots of naughty things and wants to make himself feel better lol.

Just had a jaffa cake bar which was yummy and am going to go make dinner in a minute; veggie chilli enchiladas with vegetable rice. Yummy :)

Mine does that too! I have asked him to try and be good around me, and he does try, but on occasion he buys lots of naughtiness and tries to share!
have had a few weeks completely off the rails but last wednesday I started off being good again, just been to weight watchers and have lost 2lb!! Well chuffed!! :j

Well done! I've just got back on the rails this week after a few weeks 'off' (ahem), and am very determined. Apart from a minor slip up this evening, but I'll tell you about that in a minute...

  • Here is my food diary for today:

b: porridge, with semi-skimmed milk, 1/2tsp honey, and chopped dried apricots
    l: pasty
    s: wholemeal toast with butter
d: minced beef, vegetables and potato gratin

Snacks are not permitted, BUT, H2B and I were not organised enough to eat before I went out at 7, so I needed something to keep me going! Must be organised and not let that happen again!

Morning ladies!! hope every one is happy they have done so well and its Thursday! yay!! :j

well done Ellie. thats great news and slow you are doing so so well, so well done :) I managed to find a SW group near me and now its the big question of how committed i can be to go there, esp as we are always out and about??? i was trying to work out what was cheaper in terms of going there, or online membership? i was confused. :D

i was very proud of myself last night as we went to a friends leaving do. Hubby was going mad having his pints and i was getting worried, but i let him enjoy. I started with a big glass of diet coke, and then someone got me a large glass of red yummy wine! i managed to sip that slowly for around 2 hours esp as i was starving, i didnt want to be drunk so quickly and make a fool of myself, so i also ordered a fish finger sandwich (well in a ciabatta) and had some wedges with it. hehe.. while i ate, i had another diet coke and then someone bought me a Smirnoff ice. :D... That is all i could manage as i felt too full to drink! hehe.. I was got a third smirnoff ice but i left most of it as i felt weird forcing myself to drink it as i really didnt feel upto it! yay!! i dont know if thats good but i have no hangover and feel good (still tired as we got back at 12.30). hubby on the hand is hung over. oh dear. and we have kung fu tonight!! eek! :rotfl:

    sorry long post! :p

Mine does that too! I have asked him to try and be good around me, and he does try, but on occasion he buys lots of naughtiness and tries to share!

Mine does that but doesn't really share. He lets me have a tiny piece and then he has the rest. So annoying, I'd rather not have it than see him eat most of it as I am tempted too easily.

My MIL doesn't help. We were having a BBQ at her place and I had to have cardboard (Weightwatchers) sausages when they were having Tesco Finest or something. She had made some garlic bread (I love garlic bread!!) and said "Only for those who can have it". I know they aren't on a diet but here I am eating not very nice stuff and they are having really good stuff and what she said felt like she was rubbing it in.

As expected, last nights Carbonara was really bad for me. A whole block of cheese, loads of bacon and 2 big(ish) pots of single cream for 9 people and some garlic bread. It did taste good but I can make a really nice Carbonara that fits in my calorie and fat goals by taking out the cheese and using low fat creme fraiche.

    Morning ladies,

Weigh in day today and I am not feeling good about it! I must have put on with the amount I ate over the weekend so it is more of a question of how much rather than if but still...fingers crossed its not too bad!

Porridge for breakfast as always lol.

    Morning all,

Hope everyone had a good evening.

Everyone sounds like they are doing really well.

Weigh in day for me as well :( fingers crossed that I have at least lost 1.5lbs. Aunty Flo has now finally arrived - so that doesn't help... seems to send me all over the place - emotionally :rotfl:- as well as weight wise.

Am also doing SW Ellie - so would also welcome some pointers. Have lost about 9lbs after starting mid Sept - as you can see the loss has been gradual, but then again I have to confess I haven't once followed it 100% so am pleased that must weeks I have lost at least a 1lb. But would love to lose another 3 - 3.5 stone for my wedding (but thats only in August):o

oh so sorry olokia to hear that.. that sounds so harsh though. Its a new day today so lets all start today. :)

when MIL sometimes offers some apple pie and i get tempted, silly hubby gets cheeky and starts saying that i dont need it, so to annoy him, i end up having some! doh!!!

Em, am worried about the scales. :( not sure how it will go but i will be honest and tell you all. *big Gulp*. Hadley, enjoy the time and indulge in some yummy chocolate. :)

Morning! Looking for some inspiration for my breakfast. I need to have a very low syn day as I BLEW it on one of Hestons mince pies last night. After looking ar the syn value I suspect the jar of mincemeat in my cupboard may have to stay there until I can bake some as a gift...

I'm not really hungry, but know if I don't eat then I will be hungry later and pick something really naughty!
