Well done Rups! The first one back is always the hardest!
I just weighed myself and have lost 3 lbwoop woop! Although wouldn't recommend a stomach bug as the best way to loose weight.

I stayed the same at Weight Watchers this week, which is annoying as I've been really good. In a way I think staying the same is worse than putting on because if you put on you can say "yeah I indulged and it was worth it" and obviously to lose any weight is fab but staying the same is like a waste of a week to me
Oh well, have consoled myself with a KFCand then start afresh in the morning for it is a new week and I plan to be as good as hunmanly possible althoug with a cake sale on Friday at work and a house party on saturday I'm going to struggle... will have to be extra good the rest of the time :A

cbq, staying the same isreally frustrating isn't it?! It might justbe natural fluctuations in your weight, fluid retention, etc. Do you keep tabs on inch loss aswell? Sometimes I find that I've lost inches even if the scales haven't moved.
I've decided to lower my weekly target loss to 1/2lb, as I'm fairly close to target so I'm losing very slowly. Makes me feel like I'm still achieving something!Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

ladies you are doing well though as you are not gaining. :0) i know for a weighing in, it can be so irritating. i used to be scared at times at SW because if i had gained, i would really get annoyed! grrr
i weighed myself last night (maybe should leave it to once a week) and i have managed to stay the same for 2 days... There was something recommended to me yesterday by a work colleague so i am going to try it and if it works, i willl let you all know. :0) No stupid diet but will let you know..:)
last night was a bad night as we went to my mum's house for diwali and had lots of fried stuff and sweet stuff.. ermm i wont think about it.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Hi ladies
hope you are all having a good morning. Have really boring day at work... doing something that I can't put off any longer.
Its the dreaded Thursday weigh in at SW. Not looking forward to it as haven't been that good. Would love to have lost 2lb, or at least the 1lb I need to get to 1/2 stone loss. Weighed myself before I went to bed and appeared to have gained a 1lb. Then this morning I appear to have lost that 1lb and another 1???? Think the scales are playing up big time:)
Not sure there is much I can do today to shift any weight - no gym near enough to go to at lunch and need to leave dead on 5 to make sure I can get home in time to attend the meeting at 7pm.
It wouldn't be too bad if I didn't go with a load of mates who are all losing lots each week - 3 or 4lbs a week. Though to be honest they are much larger than me so think it might initial come off faster for them.
sorry for the long post (can you tell I don't want to do my work :rotfl:)0 -
I was always told that you should not weigh yourself more than once a week as your body fluctuates lots anyway during that time, upto 2lb's fluctuation a day. The same theory applies to weighing yourself at the same time each week; it gives you a clearer picture.
I am feeling pretty good now; fully recovered from my bug and lost 3 lbsthat brings my total loss to 38lbs now
just another 32 to go! haha. Not sure if I will actually want to get that low but will see when I am nearer, definately another 18lb prob a bit more. Not sure if I will get there before the wedding, especially with christmas in the middle but am trying to be possitive

no em. dontbe happy about losing weight when il.
its horrible.. I had such a bad belly once after coming back from Egypt, i had lost weight and this girl said 'what a fab way to lose weight'.. i felt so sick that i actually wished i put that weight on..(and i did hehe).. so be well and eat well.
xx
Hadley i totally understand where you are coming from. You are so right though about other people losing weight quicker as they have more to lose. i hated that still though.Oh i tried to look for some SW places near me, but they are too far for me locally so i dont know.. I want to try this new thing and let you all know then.
wish i heard about it before the wedding but its never too late.
