nuts and porridge might help feeling less hungry. i find pasta helps me as well.hehe.had a big size at lunch and now i feel sleepy but full. i used to find that i was always hungry, but starting off with that granole and yoghurt helps me a bit. .. oh def those belvita biscuits.. try those :) i even have them at dinner if i am still hungry lol

it is better to do exercise feeling safe. :( maybe try pilates at home? what happened to some of us trying that shred? i dont even know where my dvd is! haha:D

    Morning Everyone,

Staying the same is ok Slow.:)

Rups - how did you manage to lose in Italy??? I want to know your secret? :rotfl:

As for me - went out for a very belated birthday dinner (coupon for a free dinner from a local pub/restaurant) was quite good though did have a cople of glasses of wine. :o

So must be good for the next couple of days - though did weigh myself this morning and had lost 1/2lb - just need to lose at least another 1/2 lb before Thursday night. Not sure how I can do that. :(

Hadley that is so good though if you are losing. losing somehting little is better than nothing.. I was gutted this morning when i saw in about less than a weeks time, i managed to gain a bit. well my fault really as been listing what i have been eating. grrr. *slapping my wrists*

I guess hadley, in Italy, I just ate whatever and never felt guilty about it and thought oh well can deal with it when i get back and it was ok. :) we ate loats of pizza and also lots of seafood dishes and er icecream (when it was warm). I managed to have that feeling of feeling full so only ate when was hungry. how weird. that worked for me. think i should do that here and just eat when i am hungry and not little and often and i think my body cant cope with that. :(

    Thanks Rups.

Very good advice - I am trying to only eat when hungry, but it tends to be boredom etc which makes me eat at work. :( naughty I know.

I need to get to the exercise sorted now - then that will kick start things again hopefully. :)

Oh forgot to say I weighed myself after getting out of the shower this morning not something I want to do at the SW meeting. It would scare a few people. :rotfl:

thats funny hadley. hehe..i agree with you there. In Italy, we were busy driving around or sight seeing so whenever we could eat, we did and i managed to last even though i got so hungry at one point.

in the office its so different. as i am still training, i have more time to wait around and think about food. not good. am def pushing myself to go to the gym today so lets see. well i will start with yoga. :) need that push too. start off by feeling relaxed? hehe

    Argh! :(

I don't know how I am going to manage this weight loss when I can't do any exercise. I've just had to knock Pilates off the list of allowed exercises so now I am down to 2. Walking and cycling.

Also as soon as the word diet is mentioned, I start feeling like I am very hungry. Doesn't help that sometimes when I ignore the feeling of hunger, I start to feel really faint and sick (like a hypo but I am not diabetic).

    :(

I really sympathise! I am down to those too! Although walking hurts if my knee is playing up, but if it ok it doesn't really aggravate it. Will really have to try at the physio to get this sorted an then the exercise can get kicked up!
