ah slow you are dooing ever so well wit your cal counting.
awh em. its a long long weekend.
on saturday we started so early as wanted to get back and chill a bit before the make up lady, the phorographers and the flowers arrived, but i managed to have half an hour only to enjoy my cup of tea and then head to the shower. then i had to rush.the photographers were awesome, and they made me relax. i had my makeup done whilst photos were taken and then slowly my family arrived after 2.30 and i was panicking as they were supposed to be at mine earlier, and not even my nieces or brothers. then the stress started and i had to chase my brothers to the church (bearing in mind my older one wasnt speaking to me at all during this time). my pics showed me from being calm and relaxed to anxious and then annoyed. lol. i was just hoping my mum got to me on time as she was giving me away. it was a nigtmare. eventually she did and we got into my dress. that was a mission and i had wished the seamstress was there as she knew exactly how to fit it on.. once the dress was on, finally made our way to the church with the whle street out watching and being nosey and then i started getting so nervous. the distance to the churc was 10 mins and by the time, i was outside the church, i thought i was going to faint. i could hear my heart pounding so hard. the priest came out and calmed me down and then he said to wait and once the music started i started walking. because i was so nervous, i literally ran down there. lol. once i saw Dave, everything was fine. phew.. it was such a hot day, my face was meltling. :0) oh gosh those nerves.. during the ceremony i was still nervous but kept looking at Dave and at that point, where I had to say his 4 word name, i managed to say it as he had also written it down, people in the church laughed. at one point i had to elbow him as he was making me laugh. it went so well. whilst signing the register, i saw my older brother crying but this was because my older sister was mentioned and that made us all sad and i was so glad that one of my cousins was there, because she had words with him and told him to let go of al the family stuff that had happend after my sisters death and he should just let it go.. thats the point i saw him crying and it made me sad. we made up though which was so nice. phew.... a bit more to come.. :0)

Diets don't work, because they make you think of food all the tiem. As mentioned before, better follow a few simple rules, which have have helped me, too:
- Have a comprehensive breakfast with foods that take time to digest (e.g. egg, wholemeal bread, sausages, but eat fruit, too).
- If you get hungry during the day, eat! You can even eat some nuts or heavy stuff like cheese, but don’t eat them in the evening (they add pounds).
- When you eat, eat consciously! That means: sit down at a table and concentrate on the food. Don’t eat while watching television or while playing on a computer etc.
- Eat little in the afternoon, avoid eating at night.
- Avoid everything that is sweet, because sweet things make you hungry. The exclusion also covers artificial sweeteners (farmers use artificial sweeteners to fatten pigs).
- Avoid light carbo-hydrates (pizza, pasta, chips, ketchup) and avoid all snacks.
- No sweet drinks, either.
- Drink lots of water (that fills your stomach and slows down your digestion).
- Eat raw fruit and vegetables (raw food takes longer to digest).
- Less processed foods (e.g. whole meal sourdough bread) are preferable over more processed foods (e.g. white toast).
- Avoid all alcoholic beverages (they have many calories).
- Built exercise into your daily life: walk up the stairs instead of taking the lift, practise some press ups in front of the telly, ...
- Avoid busses and cars. Walk instead or go by bike.
You will feel great, not only because you will loose weight, but also because you will do more exercise and eat better. This will have a positive impact on intestinal flora, which will help against cravings.

Rups it sounds amazing! I am getting so impatient now, my wedding is still nearly 6 months away! Oh well at least time to loose weight yet (thank god!) yummy pasta for dinner which will hopefully keep me full to avoid the yummy goodies in the cupboard.0

Em thats so funny. lol.
i did end up being so impatient as the planning was getting on my nerves big time and we had 9 months to plan it. i say the shortest time you have, the better. :0) and now i have to get back to it as am eating like a pig! had a huge portion of pasta with bol. hehe.. yum yum.. oink oink.
i have been putting up some pics got from family and friends. :-) it will be so worth it in the end. i couldnt even eat properly on those two days..
on saturday, by the time, the ceremony was over, we headed to the reception hall next door and had a drinks reception. i only managed to sip my cava. yuck. then dinner was served and i completely lost my appetite and the fact that my dress was done up quite tight so i just couldnt eat. i had the dessert though which was apple pie. yum. but i missed cake on both days and that upset me as i love sponge cakethen we cut the cake that i didnt eat and had the first dance to an indian song that we both liked when we first met. :0) and before we knew it, we couldnt even chat to friends and family properly as we were everywhere.. i was actually glad when the taxi in the end came for us and took us to travel lodge! haha.. we went and just slept as we were sooo dehydrated from the heat. it was awesome though.. part 2 was the next day.. the indian reception. make up part 2 and getting ready again into an indian outfit.. :0) i hope you havent all fallen asleep.

Sorry Rups - didn't manage to get on facebook last night. As predicted SD2B was on the computer (supposedly doing her homework - really chatting up boys via the web cam). Then i got cold and really tired so went to bed before 9:30:rotfl:
Will try and look after work - well after SW, but not sure I'll get a chance.
Nervous about SW weigh in now... desperate to lose at least 1/2 lb, as that would be 1/2 a stone, but of course, would love to have lost a lot lot more.0 -
Lovely pics Rups! U were soo lucky with your weather on the day! From what I hear brides rarely eat the food they have chosen! We are having afternoon tea, so I can nibble without leaving a whole plate!:T0
