I'm gonna have to give up work...by the time I get home I've missed pages on here!! I am feeling a lot better today - thank you everybody - though it's now turned to monster cravings. Made the mistake of popping in Tesco just for some bread but was hungry and bought a Ripple as well. What's worse I had eaten it before I even left the car park. But I was starving - had been so good at work but didn't finish work tonight til gone 6 so had got much more hungry than usual. Will end up doing more work tonight so hope I don't get the munchies when I fire the laptop up!
Codemonkey - I sympathise. At work lately lots of people have been bringing in chocs and biccies from being on hols, plus a couple of birthdays so it's been a never-ending snackfest. I take in Ryvita for lunch and plenty of fruit but when someone plonks Thirntons chocolate brownie bites down...well it'd be rude to say no0 -
The only good thing about today is that I went on the exercise for 20 minutes.

well if it's any consolation, as well as the ripple I had a fun size crunchie, 2 mini packs of jelly babies (boiught a big bag of mini sweets for my son but I'm eating them all!!) and crepes with lemon and sugar...and the way I'm feeling I don't think that'll be the end of my being bad tonight. Hoping I have a bit more enthusiasm tomorrow and can drag myself ot the gym or I'll be regretting it at the weekend - dress fitting Saturday, weigh in Sunday!0

Don't think I have done too bad today... had nutrigrain bar for breakfast, sandwich and crisps for lunch, 2 rich tea biscuits when i got back from work (that not good..), vegi stirfry with rice and a yoghurt. I seem to be doing OK at work, but by the time I come home I am hungry and have to have a biccy with my cup of tea!:T0

Morning all.. I missed so much in the evening yesterday! :0(
Everyone is doing good still. It still is OK to step out of line a bit and have naughty stuff. once you have done that, you can carry on as normal. I have decided, that if i have had something bad, i refuse to feel guilty now, otherwise i carry on eating badly and feel worse, so now i eat something and then think 'oops i have eaten something bad, but i will carry on being good'! :0) its working!
Rich tea biscuits are actually in the GI diet and are meant to be ok, so you are ok johannalf88! :0) well done slow fading. 20 mins of exercise is still better than nothing :0)
code monkey thanks for that advice. i wil def do that and up my protein. i have noticed a BIG change in what i eat at lunch time though, as before i used to eat jacket potatoes with cheese andbeans which are not bad but i used to feel the 3pm slump and i hated it. Now i have my fav marks and spencers stuff, which at the mo, i cant stop eating, grilled chicken pieces with very few bits of pasta and quinoa. i love that stuff, plus it comes with a balsamic dressing, and i dont feel sleppy at all now.. just bored from work! lol. Thanks for the advice. i do need to buy proper mirrors though as we hardly have any in our house. we bought this house last year and it needs doing up. we dont even have wardrobes! haha
going to have my granola now.. yum! :0)Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Morning dieters!
Good going on the quinoa, and healthy lunches Rups. I've just finished some raspberry porridge made with skimmed milk.
Got some bananas and raisins to add to my lunch porridge to fill me up and I will go to the gym at lunchtime.
I'll add my weight to the argument that its ok to be bad. Just write it off and try to be good the next day. Ellay I was so jealous of your jelly babies. I love them. Same with ripples, though I get so disappointed that they disappear so quickly.
I have a 36 pack of jaffa cakes at home unopened. How good am i? 2 days to my next s day.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Morning you massive numch of skinnies!
Just checking in. Had a bit of a bad day yesterday and mostly ate carbs, chicken a caffine. Went as follows:
2x crumpets
2x seedy bread toast
Cajun chick in a white baguette
Snack a jacks
Chicken Shish
Tesco health Pretzels.
Is that disgusting? I was very sleepy and crave carbs when im tiredbad times. Day off from the gym yesterday so no excercise for me, but back on it tonight with a vengence! I always feel like i never do enough at the gym though, I still can't run on the treadmill for longer that 3 minutes at a time
That's far too may sad faces this morning! Not good!0 -
