This is a lovely positive thread
Well done to all those trying to shift a few pounds ahead of the wedding. I want to lose three stone ahead of the wedding, so I need to do the following:
* Prepare healthy lunches for work the night before
* Stop buying so much sweeties/cakes at the supermarket!!!
* Make use of the treadmill thatw e ahve in the spare room
* Start doing the odd walk to/from work (3.5 miles) as opposed to taking the bus each day
Any other men trying to lose some weight ahead of the big day?Getting married to a wonderful lady on August 10, 2012.
Need to save up, lose weight, reduce my money worries and get back to being the real me! :j0 -
Congratulations Code! Glad that it went well, hope that you have a lovely honeymoon.
I managed to find enough time to make home made soup last night so that I could have it for lunch today. Assuming that since it is just stock and veggies that it can't be that bad for me? Now, must resist the chocolate biscuits at tea time!0 -
I have just had homemade soup too! I worked out a bowl of soup is under 200 cals. If it I just veg n stock anyway.:T0

:hello: everyone, hope we're all doing okay today
b - shreddies with semi skimmed milk - 154 cals
l - ham sandwich (232 cals) sunbites (120 cals) fruit cookie (150 cals) - 502 cals
s - co$ta coffee hot chocolate - 262 cals
t - chicken and noodles (273 cals) cheddar cheese(200 cals) - 473 calories
Total: 1391 calories
Slightly higher than I wanted, but I really fancied a hot chocolate so decided to treat myselfhopefully it won't impact in the long run.

* Prepare healthy lunches for work the night before
You've hit the nail on the head of me. If I don't sort my lunches out I end up popping to Asda buying a large baguette full of salt and additive, crisps, chocolate AND a cake or two!! The other one for me is making sure I have tea planned/organised. When I was starting out I had to plan a whole week in advanced just because otherwise I wouldn't have all the ingredients in to make things. But now I have a stock cupboard/regular items in the fridge/freezer I plan it day by day. Like tonight I will have tea and then before I go to bed we'll decide what to have for tea the following day so when I get up in the morning I can take whatever is needed out of the freezer.
My food diary/plan for today:
Breakfast - branflakes and weetabix.
Lunch - mince in a bolognese sauce with boiled veggies.
Tea - pan dry fried chicken & Roast Veggies.
Snacks - yoghurt, scotch pancake, and a hotel chocolat truffle.
Exercise - 30 mins Davina Buff Arms DVD0 -
