I'm quite proud of myself Rups. You have no idea how much I wanted that cookie and then how cross I was when oh just binned half of it. Not even sure why I'm doing this anymore tbh especially as dress fitting is in 2 months and I probably won't lose much before then but I just know if I stop i'll eat all the cookies and need a new dress.
Gym today then zumba tonight. Got my new sketchers shape up thingys on. Not sure how good they are but my calves ached a bit yesterday and the 10 walk to the bus stop seemed like more of an effort. I spend far too much of my day sitting down, so I am trying to make an effort to move a bit more but there's nowhere to actually go aside from the toilet. Any suggestions? It needs to look not obvious otherwise they'll give me more work. We have no break room, no shop and nothing nearby. There is a kitchen but its not very far away and I can only get so much water.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
ohh those shapers shoes are good. I have a pair of MBTs which i need to start wearing and i need to get those fitflops too. Everytime I wear my MBTs my thighs hurt so they must work. :0)
you are really good codemonkey. i swear you deserve a pat on the back for that! well done. i will learn from you!!!:0)
its the same in the office for me. I get to walk to the loo and also to the kitchen. I do my classes at lunch time, so that keeps me out. Well today is rest day so will prob walk around the block or go to Regents Park. i think with your situation, if you can just prob walk around your work place as well, that would be handy. Take your music and just walk for even ten - 15 mins. if you have stairs like we do, use those too. I noticed how lazy i was becoming by using the lift, and so i amek sure now i climb the stairs to come to my floor. (only 1st though) but its better than nothing. :0)
its sad you have no shops around you, but the only thing I can suggest is go for a short/long walk around your work area as that might help. do you gym after work then?Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I gym at lunchtime, but need something in between. I pretty much come in, sit at my pc coding til lunchtime with the odd toilet/water break then after lunch/gym I sit at my desk again. It's not good for me, but there is honestly nowhere to go if you're not a smoker. Going to the toilet every hour just looks odd and everything I need for my job is to hand.
Might just take the stairs even when I don't need to.
Your body attack class sounds awesome.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hello :j
I'm checking in for a bit of fat fighting. I had my first check in at the gym last night, been going for 4 weeks and have lost 6 inches from various bits. Would like to loose a dress size before October. Is it actually possible?
All I can thing about today is a bacon stick. Someone hit me or something.0 -
Mayfair, I don't mean to make it worse our anything but what is a Bacon stick?
I keep thinking about caramel kitkat chunkies. My next s day seems very far awayEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
codemonkey that is my day exactly. I don't go anywhere but the toilet and tea room, and also use the gym like you at lunch (not everyday though). grrr. its hard to try and do stuff inbetween and as I try and drink 1.5 Litres of water at work, i am always using the loo but ineed the walk otherwise i go mad, esp as I sit next to such annoying people..:0(
stairs sounds good actually. when i get bored (soon), i might walk to the 6th floor and back. lol. I tried the body attack class for the first time yesterday, and will def go back. body pump tomorrow and i am looking forward to that! :0)
Hey Mayfair, you have done so well losing that in 4 weeks. do you go to the gym everyday then? I tried to do that and got one of the guys there to write me a program and i did it for 3 weeks (every week plus the classes i do) and then i gave up as i hate using the gym. :0( get bored too easily. I used to have a personal trainer and that was so much fun, but i cant afford it. wish i could have him till my fitting next month. i think you def can lose a dress size by Oct. :0)Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I almost posted a picture but didn't think it would help. Just a massive bacon baguette (sp?). It's all I can think of this morning!

oh no.. if you fancy it, then why cant you have say half of it? i know i am reading different things, but Paul McKenna actually advises that if you fancy something, then eat it without feeling guilty but know when to stop.:0)Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Rups i've been going 3/4 times a week, but am hammering it for an hour and a half while i'm there. I go in the evening when the soaps are on and all the machines have little telly screens so you can plug your earphones in and watch easties. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't enjoy it
I've also cut out the horrific amount or carp i was eating. Unfortunatley i am a big BIG eater. I can eat and eat and eat... so it's a combination of of both.
You guys are all seriously good though! Gym at lunch? couldn't do that, and resisting cookies!! Far too hard....0 -
It's almost lunchtime Mayfair. Hold on ( that sounds sooooo nommy though).
I am having 2nd thoughts about the gym today because of zumba tonight. Would it be incredibly bad if I just walked over to Tescos instead? Don't think I can face porridge again. I'm too hungry.
Sounds like a plan Rups. I'll do it if you will. As I'm already on the top floor security will think I've lost the heid altogether but so be it.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
