hello everybody, just popping my head in and feeling really put to shame as I feel I've done not a lot but snack this week! I even missed zumba as I did something to my back though I've hauled the LTT back into action. I'm claiming a half pound los this week but my scales are all over the place so not really sure. I started with a bigger loss, then 15 mins later weighed again out of curiosity and had put weight on...just by lying in bed! In the end I went for the middle readings but tbh I could weigh anything...I wouldnt mind but I've only just changed the batteries in the thing! And I'm not that keen on my tape measure either - it's made my hips and thighs a bit smaller but the waist is a cm bigger.
I have been pretty bad on the food front...the week started with my secretary having a birthday and bringing in cakes...would have been rude to refuse! The we had somebody bring stuff back from holiday, then more homemade cakes at a meeting (we have fortnightly group meetings and there's now a cake rota so I'm doomed!) And I've been out for meals twice and am totally unable to resist puds. If anyone has any spare willpower can they send it to me please :)

Hi ellay. Unfortunately I don't have any spare will power, I barely have enough for myself! Had a bad evening on Friday as went round a friends for tea- he cooked so it would be rude to turn anything down! Yesterday went out for lunch and tea, and pudding. I know it is an s day but not done any exersise either!

No spare willpower here either. Despite being upset about the way my dress fitted (dreaded back cleavage) i'm still eating bad stuff. I think I may be wearing my hair down.

OK so I'm not the only one running out of willpower...that's some consolation! I've been to the gym but have just finished a bacon butty...it's become something of a Sunday ritual and I'm afraid if I had to drop one of them it won't be the bacon lol And yesterday my brother announced he's been reading my diet/exercise blog and says it's boring...like how am I expected to make ryvita and treadmills sound exciting fgs!!!

ellay, I don't think your bacon butty is so bad, especially if you grill the bacon and remove the fat (imo the best bit though).

I have to say my morale has crashed majorly. I feel fat, ugly and useless. How can I have worked out so much and the dress actually end up tighter? All that's happened is that my boobs are smaller and now I need padding in my bra. So I'm still massive, only with tiny boobs and back cleavage :(:(:(:(:(

I just want to cry but I have to go and sort buttonholes out for the mums.

awww hugs code...I kind of get where you're coming from as previously all I could ever do was lose weight off my boobs and waist so had this hugely disproportioned bottom half. Now my boobs have got quite impressive and not disappearing BUT the trade off is that my waist is also staying the same size and my stomach looks disgusting. I get into irrationally blaming my kids - I had an ironing board tum before I had them. i am toning up the bum and legs a bit but have convinced myself I'm going to end with trim legs but belly overhanging everything. And it doesn't seem to matter when I am good and hula hoop my guts out that it makes no sodding difference so I might just as well slob and watch corrie with a mars bar
But I bet your back isn't that bad - you're just seeing youself in a different style of clothes...I think Linda said something about this to some other bride beating herself up about backfat. Will try later to find it - am off cooking a healthy vegetable laden meal now!

Mornind ladies and hello newcomers!! wow i missed so much this weekend..

ladies please dont worry about stuff happening. it will make things worse! i wasnt good either. i am eating worse now at the weekends and my exercise is just the same and i cant be bothered. I am even wondering whether to go today or this week. code dont be hard on yourself. i think the main message here is that WE are ALL getting married so thats one main thing to be sooo happy about. This weight issue is getting on my nerves too. I thought by going to the gym more as well, i was going tolose something, but i havent and when i tried my dress on, i had said that i had gained half an inch on boobs and waist. i just wanted to sit there and eat in my dress. sigh..

lets all try and make a promise to each other to try and stop being so hard on ourselves. i dont know however, what i can or not promise in terms of food, so bah.. :p

    xxxhugs to all.

Hello everyone. I'm a lurker with this thread but having read the last few posts about the weekend I thought I would add something!

I bought my dress last year; it was tight but, with not getting wed till this September, I had plenty of time to lose some weight (which I would have been doing anyway for holiday).

So I was gutted when, having lost 10lbs, I went for my first dress fitting a couple of weeks ago and the dress felt the same! I must have been slimmer than I thought when I bought it OR (more likely) I was crammed and squeezed into it!

Anyway, I've now lost 12.5lbs and want to lose a few more before September, but I too have lost impetus a little.

So, I just wanted to say, for my benefit AND yours, that this is a new week. Forget what happened at the weekend - the past can't be undone. Start again now with a new positivity!!! Salad for tea then - yippee :(
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

Hello ladies, 'old' and new! :)

I've been out of the loop lately, thanks to a manic week at work last week. And this week will probably be worse! But just wanted to say hi, and hope you're all okay.

I completely fell off the wagon over the weekend, but I am back on it today and determined to stay positive, eat healthy and move around more! :j

Wishing you all good dieting vibes. xx
