Sounds good Rups. I've not had a fishfinger sandwich since I was a kid. Turns out I'm allergic to fishes.
I wasn't going to bother with the gym but I guess its the day before my fitting so I should make an effort really. I'll go at 2 then straight home after.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Another really busy day! And it is only going to get busier because of the riots! Oh well at least I am off for a week soon! Only had 15mins for lunch today, and only had some fire chilli rice crackers and a smoothie with me, so had those. I am now starving as didn't have time to go out.
did snack on bad things tho.
Hope you are looking forward to your fitting tomorrow code.:T0 -

Hello all. I have been reading this thread for a while, so hopefully you won't mind if I join in!
Mainly to have a bit of a whinge about the complete lack of success in my diet! I have been going to the gym 2-5 times a week for about 3 months, and I swear I have lost NO weight. Really annoying me! I am consoling myself with an improved shape, and people are saying I have lost weight on my face... but part of me thinks (knows!) they are just saying that because they know I am going to the gym.
On the up side I am quite enjoying the gym, and I like feeling stronger, fitter and much more flexible... but still... weight loss would be nice. And it's not like I don't have a lot to lose!0 -
I know exactly how you feel kmmr. I've been dieting for months, do 1 hour in the gym every day and today I went for my fitting. It's tighter than it was when I picked it up in April.
At least my alterations are cheap.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hey all...
Hope nobody minds my joining in on this thread, but it seems a perfect one for me to follow!
Well... When I met my partner 4 years ago I was 5'1", 8.5 stone, and a size 10...
Fast forward 4 years, my granddad passing away, and a couple of bouts of depression, and I'm still (unfortunately, lol) 5'1", but I've gained 8 stone, now tipping the scales at 16.5 stone, and am a dress size 22... and am only 20
I have tried dieting on and off for the past four years, but never manage to stick to anything. My biggest problem is how much of a picky eater I am! The only vegetables I like are carrots, peas, potatoes, turnip and lettuce, and the only meat I'll eat is mince, occasionally I'll have a pork dinner.
But I'm a right fan-anne when it comes to cooking aswell as I have a huge problem with actually handling the raw meat for some reason, so that makes things even harder!
I've been contemplating a "no-carb" diet for a while now, but again that'd be problematic as carbs are pretty much the only thing I eat: pasta, potatoes, bread, etc..
I've set a rough date for my wedding now though, and while it's 2 years away, and I refuse to become stupidly obsessed with my weight for it, I'd really like to lose as much as I can, and get myself motivated for the gym, so that hopefully, I won't have to buy a wedding dress in a size 22!
So, if any one has any tips, I'd love to hear them!
Cheers for reading & allowing me to butt in

Hi YoungandDumb (which I highly doubt!) have you thought about hypnosis? I did manage to lose at 15kg a few years ago after going to a few sessions. It doesn't seem to work for me anymore, but it did the first time.
I don't think the hypnosis actually works, more the CBT they do - basically telling you what to do!
I only mention this as you talk about some depression. My hypnotherapist was actually a counselor too - so when we met we tended to have about 60 minutes of talking about issues and why I eat and hate myself for it etc, and then a short bit of hypnosis. I really felt much better about myself and happier after. I wasn't so terrified of admitting how much I weighed, and accepted it didn't make me a terrible person - which I truly used to believe. So the weight loss didn't last forever, but being happier in life did!
I can't give much other advice - since other than that one time, I can't seem to shift the kilos! Currently going with diet and exercise, with limited success as you can see above!0
