i hope sooo :( its horrible when you know you are trying but nothing changes. grrrr. yesterday i saw a girl in my building who used to go the same gym as me and was slightly chubby and now she looks amazing. she has changed gyms and i asked her what she does and she asked me if i was doing the same classes like i did when i first met her and i said pretty much. so she said she swapped her classes and stuck to things like body pump but varied other things like adding pilates and yoga and she said that has helped her so much. she looked amazing and slim. she said yoga can even help get rid of tiredness and also said that doing many things in a day is not good as the body gets so used to it and wants more for it to make a change. i said i had no energy to do two classes a day like some people. lol

hehe yeah true. i want to stay healthy and try and exercise everyday but the body does get used to it. i just want to be at a healthy size 10-12 and maintain it. such bloody hard work. i think next week, i will try weight watchers! what do i really have to lose? hehe apart from weight.. i missed zumba again today. Am tempted to go do shred at home but am tried from all the travelling around so will enjoy my facial at John lweis after work and just go home.. need to dye my hair. I got some dye the other day and its dark brown so want to cover my damaged-by-highlights-hair. grrr

im tired and fed up, and i hope by the wedding, i dont end up hating the gym. :(

Oh Rups try not to worry. I'd hold off on the ww for now though. Aren't you supposed to be maintaining your weight rather than losing it?

just send her a virtual slap. hehe sorry...

yeah am supposed to maintain it but i needed to lose it first which i havent done!! grr. isnt the second fitting for, if you have lost more weight, then they can fix the dress? im just asking hehe..

i found out that my dad in Kenya (long story but a shorter version is he is my uncle who had adpoted me when i was born as him and my aunt had no kids), is making excuses not to come to the wedding. he has used a visa as an excuse and now he is using money as an excuse. i know he is upset with me, because i didnt get married to some Indian guy that was chosen by him and also the fact that Dave is not Indian!! How bloody racist!!!! I will never forgive him, if he wont come, as he was supposed to gibe me away!! grrr. if my biological dad was alive, i would have just asked him!! i am so annoyed.

I'm a tight fisted Scot so the fewer alterations the better.

That's rubbish about your dad. Do you think he'll come round before the wedding? I hope so. It's about you being happy and if you're happy with Dave (although I was thinking that he was actually Christian) then nothing else should matter. I know parents don't always think that way though - my granny was so against my parents wedding because my mum wasn't a Catholic.

Wow, I have had a busy day! Only just getting a chance to read and write on the train home! Rups that does suck about your dad. I know my parents had issues with my gran as they didn't get married in a church (she doesn't even go to church!!), so they had to have a church blessing to keep her happy. I was really worried that my gran may do the same with us (me and OH are full blown atheists, so wont even consider it,) but thankfully she has accepted it all with enthusiasm! OH gran on the other hand... I have yet to meet. She lives in London so no excuse, other than the whole family calls her crazy, and she is a strict catholic! I am actually terrified of a 90 year old woman I have never met, and really wouldnt care if she didn't come!

morning ladies. how are you all?

sorry about the rants yesterday. was so annoyed. hehe. thanks for the advice code and Jo. Code, did you mean Christian as in religious terms of christian the wrestler? hehe got a bit confused. lol

Jo i am sure you will be fine with the gran.. shes only 90 as well so dont worry if she does get annoyed etc etc..when i fisrt told my mum about OH, i was scared and then I thought if shes not happy then it not my prob. Her main concern later was, would I have to convert? lol. AND i am not even a practising Sikh! parents and family hey? lol. well if my dad doesnt come from Kenya, i wont forgive him. :(

I meant the wrestler, Rups. Try not to worry too much about your dad (sez me, the world champion worrier), either he will do the right thing and come or not and there isn't much you can do to influence it. Some people are just stuck in their ways. He'll be the one missing out on seeing you in your dress and giving you away.

Jo I was so worried about meeting ohs parents because they're really strict Catholics, and I'm an atheist. I haven't met his granny yet because she's always been horrible to his mum and isn't invited.
