I paid £450 for my Tosh never mind.

I have it my sticky mits at the moment but I am work so don't have time to take it out the box

I almost got conned in to paying extra to have it arrive next tuesday  . It is via DHL and took 24 hours to arrive. It was wrapped in a black plastic so it was not on display to the whole world.

And DHL tracking worked a treat.

I phoned Currys on the 0500 number - they said money had gone out and DHL on Monday to Wednesday - so can you see the time roughly it will turn up on DHL??

With Currys back at £599, there's a 512MB version at Dabs.com for £499.98 "list price" before any discounts/cashbacks anyone can find...

looking at currys website the toshiba is listed at £599. BUT while in town today i popped into currys digital who has it at £499. So pop into or phone your local currys digital store to see if any in stock etc.
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D
  • Paid £392.84 for the CompaqV6133EU ..06/12/06 ..incl Quidco rebate..thanks to all who helped esp. Shropshirelad (for the PM). Currently it's on its way from Hatfield depot by DHL according to their website. It should arrive Monday. I intend to write a program on it to help use my washing machine at it's most efficient setting. lol!
