Dunno if it's just me but has anyone else noticed that in order to get the '@' sign you have to hold shift & press '2' instead of pressing the actual button that is supposed to be used?!?!? & how do you get a pound sign?? It's supposed to be shift + '3' but when i press shift & '3' i get #!!! Wot's that all bout??

Sounds like the keyboard setup is American, usually easily enough changed in the settings.

This is the thread for toshiba core duo laptop so I assume aquinn101 was referring to the keyboard on that?

sounds like you have selected the usa keyboard setup instead of the uk one.
