Thanks for the help ppl!! Think I did choose the American setup at start up. How can I change it to standard UK setup? BTW, tis indeed a great laptop!!

then select uk english.

I don't think there are any strict rules as to where people can help each other out on here.

P.S. Caps lock is 3rd key up on the left.

Well Currys accepted my £404 for the Compaq - DHL are security checking in Milton Keynes atm

Anyone else had the Compaq yet?? Happy?

Just tried to order a toshiba laptop from Currys but it would appear that the price is now £599!
