Just tried to order a toshiba laptop from Currys but it would appear that the price is now £599!

    Cheers

    Pete

It's advertised in a Currys shop Xmas brochure at £499 - so might be available instore at that price if you wanted one.

I know that's not much consolation if you missed out on Quidco and the two 10% codes.
  • DHL duly delivered my Compaq just after 10am today (ordered on 06/12/06)

Just burning the restoration discs at the moment.....takes a fair bit of time, but I can not complain after getting such a good bargain. ;-)

So does the DHL tracking change just through the standard type in the number thing or do you have to register further with them with that sign up thing??

About half way down the confirmation email that Currys send is a parcel number, mine is 12 digits long. Then a few sentences down is a direct link to the DHL tracking service. Type in or best paste the number to find out were your order is.

Got my Toshiba this morning, seems to have a 'clicky' left control key, does everyone else have this?

Whacking Vista RTM on the laptop now, the crap pre installed did unveil one useful tool (Allowed me to burn a CD full of the essential drivers :))
