I ask you! DD got a new camera for her birthday for the trip - and took the wrong charger.
DS has left the charger plug for the I pod in the USA 'I thought I'd packed it' 'think yourself lucky - some kids left i-pods'. Did NONE of them think to CHECK the rooms as they left?
So he won't be able to charge his i-pod till he buys a new charger?

Bed changed - sheets washed and hanging on line
    Upstairs and stairs vacuumed

I really must sort out my kitchen cupboards - anyone else have equipment etc they don't use because it is at the back of a bottom shelf and too much faff to get out (or they just forget it's there)?

I know most of us are here because we never really get on top of anything even if we complete the lists (including me) but I have a question. If you complete the list in a room do you ever sit back and think "wow"? In the LR today I have dusted, vacuumed sofas and cushions, under everything I can move and kind of under the stuff I can't. I have wiped all the doors, windows and the skirting boards I can reach and vacc'd the ones I can't. However it still kind of looks the same, doesn't really have that clean feeling I get in some other rooms and I really feel I am fighting a losing battle. Maybe the room has got too much furniture or maybe I need to declutter even more but it just gets me down a bit, I feel I may as well not bother.

    Anyway, my list

    Tuesday~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    mop/vacuum floor
    Level Two
    Scrub the oven and hob
    Level Three
    dust and deweb!

Afternoon all. Posting first and catching up after...

Much nicer day than I was expecting today. I've got two loads of washing out and I've cut the front grass (did the back yesterday).
I've made a meatloaf with a recipe I haven't used before and I'm cooking it in my new oven which I've only really heated things up in before.......dinner could be interesting ;)

I've done all the bedrooms today and also dusted and vacuumed right through downstairs. S&Sd kitchen and washed the floor too. Still quite dusty but gradually getting better. It looks fine but I'm still getting dust up.

Going to see if there's any washing dry now then I'll do some catching up :)

Managed to get a few more bits and pieces into the recycling bin, and general tidiying up done. Think I'm going to focus on cleaning the bedroom today, as the cat is out in the garden, and it's in desperate need of dusting and hoovering, as I tend to avoid it when he's on the bed because I'm a soft touch. Just going to have a bit of lunch then carry on.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I'm about a third of the way through a major sort out of the study - one set of shelves has been cleared, wiped and put back, and I've made a start on sorting the pile of stuff that had taken over my desk... Once everything is clean and tidy I'll then have to go through and deal with it. Still, I have some washing on the line, and I'm about to go and have lunch before coming back to try to make further inroads into the mess.
