    Afternoon all

AJ - I feel like that with out living room mainly because the carpet needs removing, the rug chucking, the walls painting, the windows replacing etc. We will tackle that room later in the year. I much prefer cleaning the rooms which have been more recently decorated.

Polly hope you are enjoying your new kitchen

LL and Toots hugs and love for you and you

Dentist said I need a filling but he wasn't well and was cancelling patients (that never happens with him) so I need to go back in 3 weeks. Made a pact with myself that I can fret for 3 weeks or put it to the back of my mind until then.

Going to have a cuppa and then a HHC. Popped in at the local plant nursery on my way home to cheer myself up so I have a few plants to plant.

  • I really must sort out my kitchen cupboards - anyone else have equipment etc they don't use because it is at the back of a bottom shelf and too much faff to get out (or they just forget it's there)?

Definitely! :D Must have a clear out, and maybe a boot sale.

It wasn't Walter, was it? He was here earlier, perched on the patio dragon and did a thundering great big poo right outside the patio door! Oh, he's a wood-pigeon, if you hadn't guessed.:D

Just the bathroom left to do; though tbh, there's no way I can do it in just 15 minutes, even giving it only a quick once-over.

Garden will wait for the weekend (or at least tomorrow) as I need Mr LW to be out there with me. It looks heaps better than it did though, after a total of three hours hard labour on it from both of us last weekend.

I had some sad news yesterday - Cameron passed away last week.:( No, not Dave, but one of the kitchen-trashing Westies, the diabetic one with only one eye. They were due to stay with me again in late May. Candy will still be coming, though, as scheduled.:o

It's the fashion... pause here to check your own daft fashion items when you were a teenager:rotfl:

Might it be worth checking that she still has pairs of socks and hasn't given one of each pair to her mates:D

Today? Still sorting other people's stuff rather than my own (roll eyes smilie here ____ ) but will have to draw a line soon as it's the vintage fair on Saturday (10 am start:eek:) and I'm in Oxford tomorrow. I'm sure I can scare up another box to sell.... or a few, if I include the fabric stash:rotfl:

Anyroad, onwards and upwards, wearing my "What Wedding? badge from when William's Mum and Dad got married:D

Been a very long night here, trip 20 miles away to A&E only for hubby to walk out and not get assessed (he doesn't want sectioned). Didn't fall asleep until i knew he was sleeping. Then up this morning and go to his group thing, CPN off on holidays but the ones there have contacted the HTT. Then we head to get his meds from the town which is packed and the chemist say they don't have them, try the other chemist (they didn't have them). So back to GP who rings the chemist and they say they forgot to put some paper in the fax machine and that it's now through. So back into town we go to first chemist and they say they have script but no meds and we need to go to another chemist. Eventho this chemist told the nurse that they had them....:mad::mad::mad: Then we go to the minor injuries for hubby to get sorted. It's been a long day so far.....

Plan now is to go and get a snooze before i drop in a heap. Hubby and kids still looking to go to the beach but we'll have to see how things go and what the HTT say. Right i'm away to bed......
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
