When we had 2 votes 4 years ago we just got the 1 polling card and they gave us 2 ballot papers at the polling station. Just wondering what happens with postal votes really as I only have 1 ballot paper, I may give the council a ring to find out.
In flying news, I managed to kick myself out of the house to put my claim in at work, so I have money on its way to me.
I am going to be brave in a mo and try and put some of the drawers together on the chest of drawers so OH can store his clothes and I can tidy upstairs.

One Poll CardA question for the Scottish flyladies? We have registered for postal voting for the first time this year, I have just looked through the form so I know what I am doing. However we haven't got anything for the voting referendum only a form for the local election, has anyone received 2 polling cards or just the local one?
"Election to The Scottish Parliament
Referendum on the voting system for UK
Parliamentary elections"
I would have expected you to be sent referendum form as well as election forms.
vanilla - hugs
OK operation kitchen underway - so, another question - where do you keep medicines?
Somehow it seems sensible to keep them on a shelf in the kitchen
They are handy to take after food - water and tap to hand
could get damp in bathroom0 -
Flying done for the day so heading to do my HHG of the day.
Crafty - I have a box high up in the kitchen (even I need a chair to get it) and then a bag in the bathroom hanging high on the back of the door which just has paracetamol and ibuprofen in it to save coming down if somebody needs them in the night.

For some unknown reason I decided to tackle the limescale on the shower hose today. Used a toothbrush with diluted white vinegar. But it's taking forever. Anyone got any suggestions for speeding the process up?0

stick the shower head in a bag with the vinegar and leave it as long as you can, if its bad, don't dilute the vinegar, and you can use the cheapest malt vinegar rather than white :T
eta shower hose same, mine unscrews, if it dosen't, use a cloth soaked in vinegar.Sue

I managed my hours kip, hubby away for a snooze now. Phones sis and she and BIL are talking about coming to the beach with us.

happierdaystocome hubby can go to a house for a week for respite and it's really good. Problem is used to be free but now they charge £75 for the week. Plus if i booked him in now they wouldn't have a place for him until next month.
LW big hugs sweetie.
shellysue when he's well he can and when he's not well he'll make every bad decision he can.
Right i best get a move on and start packing.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
That I don't know; I don't get to meet the dog-owners, the agent for this area collects the dogs and brings them to me, and she picks them up again at the end of their holiday and returns them to their owners.:osorry to hear about the westie, will they get another one ?
Ours are in a small "bathroom" cabinet, on the kitchen wall inder the cookery book shelf. When I moved in with Mr LW, we bought a bigger, pine bathroom cabinet, as we needed a larger one than he had, and redeployed the old one for our daily meds.
