have you looked in zone alarm >> programme control - what programmes have a green tick - is security set as high as you can - the free version does only allows medium, sometimes.
Can you check in IE >> tools>> internet options>> security tab>> click Trusted sites >> sites .. what sites have you here if any ?
IE >> tools>> internet options>> security tab>> click Restricted sites >> sites . This should be full of the sites set in SD Spy-bit Innoculate? Now check the "Custom level on this page it should be set to "disable "
1. checked zonealarm - could not find anything unusual to novice eye
2. trusted sites - all empty
3. Restricted sites - list full of sites which look dodgy.
check the "Custom level on this page it should be set to "disable - where is this?

I'm of the opinion that something is preventing the removal of the entry rather than the infection still being alive and present. Let's try shutting down you resident protections and fixing that entry again.
Deactivate AVG Anti-Spyware's Resident Shield
- Open the program and click "Change State" to the right of the Resident Shield option in the main window.
- You will clearly see the status change to Inactive if you have done this correctly.
- Then go to Start > Run and type services.msc
- In the Services window, scroll down to AVG Anti-Spyware Guard and double click it to bring up another window.
- Hit the [Stop] button and change the "startup type" to disabled using the drop down menu.
- Exit the services page.
Now shut down Windows Defender's resident shields by right clicking the system tray icon for the program and selecting the relevant options.
Then right click ZoneAlarm's system tray icon and select the option to shut the firewall down completely.
Close all browser windows, open HijackThis and fix that entry once more.
Restart and post a fresh log HJT log please.0 -

Hi Atbug
The dodgy sites are ones that IE is restricted from going to, so that is good. Diasble should be the setting for the options under the security level. It should be in the security level for this zone the botton <custom> unless you have another level set ?
You seem to have the windows firewall running with the ICS service - Internet Connection Service are you sharing your connection - perhaps with an xbox or other pc's ?
Do you play " Deusex invisable war" asked because of the file PFSVGAE running from your temp area.
Finally are you still experiencing problems ?Rich people save then spend.
Poor people spend then save what's left.0 -

GreenNotM,
No other connection with my pc. Its only a USB modem with BT broadband basic.
I dont play any online war games. My son plays with bbc cbbeebies and boomerang kids games online and HIT entertainment. Dont know of that file is related to it??
Well no pc is working okay and i can access the internet okay. seems a bit slow a times but otherwise nothing abnormal.
shall i delete this PFSVGAE file?
thanks0 -
Here is new HJT after doing the new instructions. It still seems to be there after doing all the tasks you suggest.

I tried your steps again with disabling all the software features just to make sure i had it right. Even did a ipconfig /flushdns in cmd mode afterwards in case it might help.
restarted and ran HJT again its still there "017"...arghhhh
