Oh, I don't like moving. Good luck Marru. It sounds like you're quite organised - i.e. you have a list!

You can do TV license online - I changed my bank details, and I am sure it lets you change the address too. Not the most important probably, but at least it's easy.

I am sure you have plans in place to make the other appropriate phone calls and get things sorted, it's just meter readings for gas/water/electric I suppose.

BB - not sure who the cheapest is at the moment, it is Plusnet? I think I saw that it was £6.49? Do you have plans to cope with the lack of BB!

Are you having tomorrow off to do it all? Wish I was a bit closer so I could help

Thanks TMFI, yep can do TV online, need to find the email that has the licence number. I have organised BB but need to cancel the old one (had to change providers - complicated story).

House tidy, just going to have a quick shower and I am ready.

Not sure whether I will have time to finish apron today now, not sure what plans mum has, plus she has hospital tomorrow and friday. She may come back here, that way I can get her to help, although my dad was the sewer in our family, he made all out clothes when we were younger plus when I was a teenager, if there was something I liked and it was way expensive, he would look at it then buy material and make it  so talented my dad :)

He was a great artist too, mum gave the boys all his art stuff 2 years ago including all his pictures. Should really go through them and get some framed.

Been thinking whilst out in the garden - I blame hanging out on Firewalkers thread for the thinking stuff BTW:rotfl:

I've been thinking about cleaning up my language - and how if you get what you focus on then how I need to focussing on the RIGHT things.

I wondered what needed cleaning up MG:eek: (can get a bit 'ripe' backstage when things go wrong)
But I know what you mean - I suspect I have a strong tendency to use negative language.

Right - washing on line - off to join crickett (having realised that what I need to get on with is a lot more interesting than her list)

I'm inspired by crickett too this morning - I have a list of stuff I have been putting off because of my sore back.

So I hereby declare the next 24 hours - from 10am today till 10 am tomorrow as my own personal Action Day - where I clear up those annoying (and some important) little bits that grow into mountains in your imagination.

Don't worry - will be extra careful of my back and will pace myself - but there is loads of things that just need to be cleared up.

Biggies include - TAx Credits Renewal, Back to Work Credit re-instated, put cash into the Bank so that I can order carpet, water plant, laundry, make DS1 and appointment to look at Primary and Secondary Schools, Confirm Uni training day.............. so nothing too "physical" IYSWIM.

Oh!!! and I will be talking to my two favourite guys in the world tonight - a Priest and a Rabbi that I used to play Poker with. So I am really looking forward to catching up.

Off toput a load of washing on and gve the bathroom a swish n swipe.

Hey Bitsy - just trying to think back to when ds was a wee one and we didin't even know that he was ASD.

Nights have always been a tough time - ds didn't sleep through the night until he was 5+, so I can well relate to the night-time musical bed routine. Ds always had a low-level night-light and our bathroom light was always left on, it stays on even now. We used to leave a radio on low at night to provide voice background cover. I'm trying to remember the name of the medication we tried - remembered Phenergan - it's a sedating antihistamine (we had varied results).

Between 6 and 10 he was a lot better but once he started secondary school it went downhill again. Even now he will often switch night and day, I'll see his light on in his room at 3 or 4am or hear him pacing around the house - the good news is that at 19 he is finally beginning not to stress at not being able to sleep at night and just gets on with it :T.

    Thinking of you, Thriftyxxx

Thanks Thrifty :) He actually slept through last night although it was again well after 9.30pm before he'd dropped off to sleep. Sadly I tossed and turned and snored like a trooper thanks to this horrible cold so poor H bore the brunt of it all again :o I don't think we'd get medication as his sleep problems aren't chronic. We had over 6 months of him sleeping through but it's all gone to pot for some reason. doesn't help that we're trying to wean him off us having to sit with him (we'd progressed to top of the stairs but he's adamant he wants to be able to see us). He's scared of the dark so bedtime is a big stress (he only managed to tell us why he was so distressed a few months ago, due to his language delays, we assumed he was just mucking about :o). Anyway it's all a work in progress, wanted to get some Slumber Milk with extra melatonin in but can't source it anywhere near me :(

Anyway enough of my problems.......Mum coming round this morning for another sewing session :)

I've had to chase the cat off the baby blue tits in the nesting box for the 3rd time so she's now in :(
Having made my list of Frogs last week I've not started on any of them :o

Claire - well done on your apron, would love to see a pic :)

EH - didn't realise you had a blog so now saved to faves :D

Marru - Positive vibes for a smooth move on Thursday, hope it goes well :)

MG - interesting way of looking at it. I secretly worry about not having enough money or not saving enoungh and tend to nag at H when he goes spending so perhaps I should stop stressed about that and imagine the abundance we do have, I am sure H would be thankful in the break from nagging :o :rotfl:

Crickett - Positive vibes for your work on the portfolio, you CAN do it :D

And thanks for the link MG, how I wish my school had been more like that........we didn't even have a PA system in the dining room that played music
I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife :D Louise Brooks

    Morning MG! - Morning All!

Thought I'd crawl out from under the rock today - lol - always read & get inspired by all the wisdom floating about, but rarely add two penneth - :)
If you want abundance, if you want prosperity, then focus on abundance. Focus on prosperity"

MG - a lovely thought for the day - thank you for copying it out!

Amazingly it applied so well to our situation this morning - instead of focusing on how far the grocery money could/would stretch, did a check of freezer and storecupboards - lo and behold - the basics for 10 main dinner meals - abundance right under our noses - no need to stretch the grocery budget, just pick up the bits and pieces through the next week or so - and we feel prosperous!!!!!
