((((claire)))))))) will pop over and see what's happened in a min
(((bitsy)))))))) you are FAB, and so are we allYes, we all have different things in our lives, and don't always understand the ins and outs of what everyone else does, but that's ok - in fact, that's great and what makes us so great as a group! :T :T
Might I respectfully suggest that you are comparing your 'everyday' to what the WHOLE of the matrix reports as 'interesting news'? What I mean is - you might think (this is just an example, apologies if it doesn't reflect reality) - 'I get up and go to work and come home and make tea and watch tv and go to bed, while everyone else is forging new careers and making things and going on exciting holidays'
Well, I'll tell you this now - everyone else is doing the whole getting-up-and-going-to-work routine too. Beware of comparing your ONE life to EVERYONE ELSE's lives - we're not all doing exciting things ALL the time - some of us might do something exciting once a week say, but in between times, we're living the fabulous everyday lives too
I wrote about this here - actually I feel quite strongly about it!
Anyway.... MG, congratulations on being invited to stay at the school, what a fab experience for you and your boys! :T :T Can't wait to hear what you reveal tomorrow! :T :T
I have had a glorious day :T :T Breakfast in bed, a nice new haircut, an amble round town, a new pair of turquoise shoes from TK Maxx (I NEVER, EVER buy anything NOT from a charity shop, so this was a bit ), then a concert in the Cathedral, cuppa in a cafe with friends, then round to another friend's house for more tea :T :T 18 month plan planning coming soon :j0 -
Sounds like a lovely day Cheery
18 month plan sounds intruiging.
Suppose I had better do these cards for the farmers market.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

Am with you on this one Cheery - I am mostly quite happy with life plodding on and me having the whole get up, do some stuff, do some more stuff, then sleep routine. Life should be about the small things as well as the big exciting things, let's face it some of the most unhappy and troubled people are those who by their celebrity have exciting times all the time.
I am definitely a plodder:p
Reports mostly done - 6 difficult ones to do on Sunday as they needed more thought and careful handling than some of the others. This weekends menu includes dress rehearsal for dd at dancing, picking up Nan's 70th cake and helping her celebrate it:TMortgage £119,533 going down slowly
Emergency fund £1000/£1000

Me Too
Ladies, I must clarify I wasn't posting in order to fish for complimentsbut it's very nice to see what you've all said
I just wouldn't people thinking I am one of those people.....you know who always put themselves down so that everyone can go "but you're so wonderful etc etc" and it's just a means of making themselves centre of the Universe again.
I would never have thought that was what you were doing. Can spot that type a mile off and you are definitely not one. We all have those moments though
and Fantasia......."lets get partying".....don't tempt me......I have a very strong urge to have a girls night out with high heels, a bit of a tipple and lots and lots and lots of dancingAfternoon, you know the positivity I was supposed to be oozing?? well why is it when I start getting somewhere, something comes and slaps me in the face???? And I'm back to square one??Cheery_Daff wrote: »((((claire)))))))) will pop over and see what's happened in a min

I wrote about this here - actually I feel quite strongly about it!I read that at the time and loved the thought behind it. I agree that when a collective writes their exciting bits it can all look as if other people have fun full on lives. I mean my days follow such a routine that when something out of the ordinary happens I cant help but shout about it. If 5 of us feel the same then it really does look like lifes one big party for other people.
Anyway.... MG, congratulations on being invited to stay at the school, what a fab experience for you and your boys! :T :T Can't wait to hear what you reveal tomorrow! :T :T ME TOO

Sounds like a great day Cheery. Love the shoes (stalked over your fence!)
MG. how exciting to have the chance to go to Montesorri schools abroad. I am working tomorrow so wont have chance to wish you a very happy birthday. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

This was my message from the Universe that I am on the right track with a wee project I am starting tomorrow as a gift to myself for my birthday.
