    Afternoon Matrix!

I have had a meeting with my boss, which I had been dreading all week. It went really well. Even better than I could have hoped for - I was nervous after cowbag's meeting on a similar topic had taken nearly 45 minutes. Mine too 15. Oh yeah... I am not a very strong technical accountant. Nope. I'm cr*p me. NOT!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

45 minutes to go and then I can leave this funny farm for the weekend. I am really looking forward to that!! :) Going to go home (not via the supermarket... too tired for that I think) and make dinner, then get ready to head out to the movies with hubby. :D And a nice night's rest, hopefully. Tomorrow is a morning of chores and shopping and exercise and then off to Church to help get ready for the Parish BBQ and then Sunday my little church choir and I are responsible for the music at a big Holy day and Church occasion. I am doing a couple of solos. Nervous about it, but looking forward to it as well! :D

Have a lovely weekend one and all!

Well I have just made chocolate lollies :D You can keep your magnums etc these are like frozen chocolate blamange (sp?) and are LUSH. Pity I have to wait til they are cool enough to freeze so probably won't get to sample until tomorrow.

Have potted on my 7 pepper plants, bought some flat leafed parsley and some basil seeds so me and mindee had fun planing up these items this morning :)

I am really enjoying all the positive thoughts and no Fantasia I don't think its bigheaded of you to say. I really ought to take a leaf out of your book.

So in the interests of self improvement I have started doodling a mind map about the abundance in my life. I had written it as a list and stuck it up on the kitchen cabinet BUT it looked very dull and boring and as such I didn't look at it often enough. So I have a brief outline of how I want it to look and will draw it properly later.

I also decided enough is enough with my weight. I ain't happy with things as they are but if I am not persistent and keep making the effort things are never gonna change. So whilst I was in the shower this morning I practiced Paul McKenna technique of imagining a bar of chocolate mixed with......welll I'd rather not spoil your lunch but suffice to say thinking about it was enough to make me gag  I spend most of the morning running round after kids and the cat so not much time for visualisation time but then I realised if I can do the PM thing in the shower I can visualise anything else whilst I am washing my hair :) So that is something I need to incoporate into my daily routine.

And from now on the "woe is me" posts are outta here. It's my own gremlin making me compare myself to all of you and it's about time it stopped. OK some of the stuff about accounting (what the heck IS forensic accounting anyway :o), marketing yourself, academic stuff goes right over my head (and on the other side) but that doesn't make me stupid or small (gremlin talking there) and I need, like Fantasia to celebrate my inner diva :D So if you see me posting anything remotely like that feel free to give me a virtual slap round the face and a "pull yourself together girl".
I don't know either Bitsy but Will Ferrall was one in a film we saw yesterday so I think that means I don't want to be one lol:rotfl:

Sorry for that rather long post :o

Crickett - I soooooo agree about the music thing. It's a tool I need to employ more often than I do, even if I just have a quick boogie round the kitchen it's better than me reaching for the biscuit tin :o:o

Kittikins - <gives her a massive kick up the 'arris> You ARE worth it xx Why not post rather than lurk, I find posting helps me absorb the positive stuff by osmosis LOL

Bitsy - you do a fantastic job and give lots of great advice and cheer me up no end so please don't beat yourself up - you are fabulous:A

Fantastia - you are the Queen of the Non-Smokers :):):)

Crickett - BIG HUGS honey, hope the day gets better and better for you x

Ang - go knock 'em dead at the interview, I'll be thinking of you :)

Gemmzie - BIG HUGS, hope life gets less complicated and happier for you very very very soon x

Can I have my kick up the bahooki (sp?) please.....I've been lurking a bit recently, eating my way through far too much rubbish and feeling a bit sorry for myself again.....*sigh* I know I HAVE to lose weight and I WANT to, but my head says s*d it, you're not worth it, your life is changing for the worse and so what etc etc.......help!

Come on Kittikins, dont lurk, join in, I swear you will glean so much more from joining in, rather than just reading what others are doing.

And I'm telling you s*d it, YOU ARE SO WORTH IT, and more besides. Love Bitsy's phrase about celebrating our inner diva's, so whatcha waiting for girl, lets all get partying. Lets just do it, no prevaricating, procrastinating, no excuses, lets just do it, whatever it is we have to do.

Celebrate yourself (I am, 'bout bl**dy time too) Hugs xxxxxxxxxxx

What makes you fabulous? That is a hard question to answer, I don’t usually like writing about whys and wherefores, but nonetheless I will answer it to the best of my ability.

You are fabulous because you are a woman, a mother, a wife, a daughter and a friend. You are fabulous because you are strong willed, have thoughts of your own and take responsibility for your actions — even if the choice isn’t always the right one.
You are fabulous because you are not perfect. You have the same fears, hopes, wishes and dreams like everybody else. You are fabulous because like nobody else, your life is a unique story and continues to be. You are fabulous because you are you.

ANd we can all apply this to each other because it is sooooooooo, soooooooooooo TRUE

Afternoon Ladies - wonderful to see the happy chat going on whilst I've been out and about.

Had a great meeting with DS2's old Montessori teacher who has invited him to repeat visits to her school in the Netherlands. The deal is I stay in her house and she markets a Mind Mapping Seminar to raise funds for her school and the kids get to spend time in a bi-lingual school. :j Planing on about 4 seperate week long trips over the next year - she is also going to contact her friends who run other Montessori schools around the world to see if we can come to the same arrangement with them - including Italy, Germany and Spain :T

I also found out a little known fact about her ................. she speaks Bulgarian :rotfl::rotfl:

This was my message from the Universe that I am on the right track with a wee project I am starting tomorrow as a gift to myself for my birthday. Its a little something that you guys have inspired me to be brave enough to do ............................ but because it's a birthday present I had better leave the "reveal" until tomorrow.

I have done the weekly shop - and treated the boys to strawberries, raspberries AND melon. I've decided that they prefer fruit to sweeties so I will spend on fruit IYSWIM.

Off to mke a pot of tea - and then some light weeding in the veg plot (I luuuuuurrrrvvvveeee square foot gardening its so easy to spot the weeds)

I HATE Spam. Both sorts ;)
Exciting stuff MG and looking forward to the big reveal tomorrow :D

Ladies, I must clarify I wasn't posting in order to fish for compliments :o but it's very nice to see what you've all said :o:o I just wouldn't people thinking I am one of those people.....you know who always put themselves down so that everyone can go "but you're so wonderful etc etc" and it's just a means of making themselves centre of the Universe again.

and Fantasia......."lets get partying".....don't tempt me......I have a very strong urge to have a girls night out with high heels, a bit of a tipple and lots and lots and lots of dancing :)

I'm guessing thats one of those "can't live with them can't bury them under the patio" questions?

When I get a downer like that - I start singing this:
