Well done Fantasia, keep it up love.

Wishing you well at the interview tlawd. Nothing wrong with being cheeky, if you dont ask you dont get.

Souk, I really hope that you have a good night. And that he is the man of your (for tonight) dreams.

Can I just say (keeping the theme going from CM)............ Clairewop, each day your posts get more and more vibrant for me. You seem to be radiating confidence compared to when you first came on here. The amount of support and lovely things that you say to people is definitely at the top of the pile. Not sure if you realise it yourself but I would suggest that you have a read back of some of your posts from the early days and I bet that you will see a difference in them. Just felt the need to say what kept jumping off the page at me.

Cheri how lovely! :T (she's right you know Claire ;)) :)

Welcome tlawd, and good luck for your interview! :T :T We'll be cheering you on - and make sure you stop lurking and get back in here and tell us how you got on! :j

    Fantasia - you're doing SOOOO well! :T :T :T

Hope date was suitably scintilating company Souk :D

I've been grumpy for the ENTIRE day, and think I *may* just have cured myself of it with an hour in the garden, planting a tray of £1 sugar snap peas, a few herbs, and giving everything a good water :T Feel SO much better - what is it about having your hands in the soil that's good for the soul? I love it :T

Off to have a go at my 18 month plan mind map - and having my hands in the soil is going to be on there!

(interestingly enough, growing veg may not - just had a rather revelatory revelation about that while I was out there!)

    Night all xx

Cheery - my dad reckons that his home grown veg is the most expensive available locally... So he now only grows things he can't easily get cheaply. Like asparagus. Or beans, because he likes them little. Or gooseberries because no one else likes them. He grows tomatoes because they're easy and he likes them freshly picked, new potatoes because they're easy, and leeks so there is greenery in the garden if they can't get to the shop (they live in the middle of nowhere).

    Hi Matrixettes,

I have a very cheeky favour to ask. I've never contributed to your wonderful thread but am an avid lurker.

The cheeky favour I have to ask is could you all please send me positive vibes tomorrow at about 2:20pm as I have an interview for my dream job. I cant even put into words how much I want it.

It will mean a complete and utter life change for me, move to a big city, leave my dad and family and standing on my own two feet for the first time at 27 as well as a complete career change!!

Thanks in advance and also a huge thanks for a truely motivational thread.

    Ang x x x

    Go for it. Ang! :T :T :T :T :T

Positive vibes a go-go! Just show your evident enthusiasm and they would be MAD not to employ you! :D

Up and at em bright and early - even chomped on a huge frog before the kettle even boiled to put on some coffee.

Still finding it funny how some jobs you spend HOURS fretting about take mere minutes to do when you get up and at 'em.

I am loving my time in the morning writing - and FW has joined me in the "golden hour" game and will be at her laptop chuntering away too I should.

The sun is out, but am wrapped in a fleecy blanket as its a wee bit chilly - but my coffee tastes wonderful now the big scary job is done and dusted.

Taking boys to St A again today - so may "invest" in anther £2.15 of rent on a table in a coffee shop and carrry on with my Mind Maps.

Also need to treat ourselves to half a dozen free range eggs from the food budget - birthday cake for tomorrow needs to be made and decent quality eggs make such a difference.

Lovely things all day to my Matrixettes - make it a go get it Friday :rotfl:

    MG

PS How did it go Souk?? You know you want to tell us really :rotfl:

Yep, I am here - and have cracked the paper already. From now on writing it is a technical matter and I will do my best not to get bored with it so it gets finished.

Thawd, will be thinking of you and at 2.30 pm there will be energy coming your way.

MG, going to the caf is worth it - you get much more done, so are more productive; it is not a treat, it is 'improved working conditions'.

I have to go to the office today - so need to get going.

Just a quickie before I start work

have e-mailed the app home (yes - all done on line now apparantly) & have filled in all except the bit where it says - why are you so wonderful for the job & I also have to attach a CV - which, at present, doesn;t exist. So will be busy over the weekend & if it's not too cheeky, will be popping on for advice

Cheri - you're so right about Claire - CLAIRE - ARE YOU LISTENING?:D

And Ang - positive vibes on their way - & the only condition is you have to come back & tell us when you've got the job....

MG - will either you or your Mum be passing tonight after 5ish? as if so you could pop in for eggies????

    OK - work calls

    have a good day y'all

PS - was over on the other side last night & I keep forgetting how good it is - must do that more often
