Just came out of my Very Scary Meeting - having been told I was great ('very competent' I believe was the phrase :rotfl:) and I need to NOT volunteer for anything :D So here's to practicing saying NO ladies! (or rather not saying no, but not saying Yes! Me! Please let me do it! :rotfl:)

*Accepts Cheery's coffee and cakes as well as kick to the bum at the same time as wondering if her interview blouse will fit her tomorrow after all the rubbish she has eaten recently*

OK, so have got off Facebook and stopped harassing people to leave me nice comments (was very productive, though!).

Am about to get dressed :o, put on some food and walk dog, then come back and anhilate this work as I have the portfolio to do as well.

Keep those feet in kicking position, ladies, just in case!

Get on with it Sunflower!! :)

Sorry I haven't been around much today. Had lots of frogs to chomp and have nearly done all of them. Kind of grinding to a bit of halt just at the moment though. I would really like hometime to happen right about now!! How interesting that a lot of us seem to have a slump at the same time! Just a little spooky!

Have just decorated the desk of the cowbag... she is going on leave tomorrow for nearly 3 weeks as she is getting married on Friday. So, guess who has been working my tail off to get people to sign a card to her and decorate the desk tastefully... yup, that would be me. One of the people who can't stand her. I got the cards and circulated them, I got the vouchers after the collection had been counted, I got the decorations and have blown up the balloons and tied them together and put them on the desk. But she is a weird person... if she likes all the fuss, then she will give my boss (who has not stirred a finger) the glory. If she hates it... then I will be blamed and be persona non grata for the whole day. Sigh. Can't win. Oh well, I have done my bit...

Foodwise... did not go terribly well last night. I suddenly found myself in the middle of a binge and I couldn't stop, or indeed remember how i had got to that point. Even now, I am not sure what triggered it. I was eating pringles and sour sweets - you know... like fizzy cola bottles?... and I was alternating between savoury and sweet/sour. I managed to stop myself before I got to the bottom of the tube of pringles or the bottom of the bag of sweets... but I don't know why I was doing it. Very odd.

Yesterday was a rest day for the exercise. I did quite a long and fast walk getting the decorations for cowbag's desk at lunchtime, so I am tempted to make that my exercise for tonight. I will see how I feel when I get home.

Right... best go back to my spreadsheet from hell...

Positive vibes for interviews, portfolios, articles, relationships etc. :D See you tomorrow.

Flying visit ladies, will read back later. Wanted to say thank you for the positive vibes. Today was fab. I wasn't doing a presentation in the normal sense of the word but I can now tell you all that I was presenting a group of young people that I have been working with to (deep breath) The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Lady Camilla as part of a private meeting during the Royal Opening of the 4th Assembly. It went really well. Shook their hands (all of them). Laughed raucously at Prince Phillip (a little to loudly) and talked to Camilla about loving living in Wales.
Just back to hotel room to change and then back to office. See you all later ladies :)

Well done Cheri, yay, go you.
Administers bahookie kicks to all who need one.
Lightbulb moment today. All this talk of munching fogs was doing my head in because I couldnt find any to chomp on, but I have actually, over the course of the past couple of days, devoured the largest, ugliest frog that ever lived, simply by laying off the cigarettes. 4 DAYS SMOKE FREE, yay.

Second full day at work, part time for the rest of the week, and am loving it, its always different, and nobody is going on at me about exceeding targets, or dumping crappy campaigns on me because I am the only one who can deal with stuff. No pressure, no negativity and just going with the flow.

NO news of baby Parsnip? Aww come on little one, we are all waiting to welcome you xx
