Just that as a Stage Manager I often had the best seat in the house when it came to the slightly more revealing scenes.;)

If you guys in the audience we getting the bahookie .................. well I was getting an eyefull :rotfl:

Let me think - Jason Issacs??????................ "Caligula" at the Boulevard Theatre London. Seems he got into playing bad boy roles pretty early then :D

Spendies for today - £6.15 on black bean paste, minced garlic and 2.5 kg of prawn crackers from the Chinese Supermarket. Should keep little people very happy.

My AF order is now all safely stashed, stock rotated and everything lined up (control freak me???????). Looking great for a very low spend year on the food front .............. which leaves more money for living our dreams:j

An evening writing tonight - as on Saturday I launch a new project that I am really excited about (in response to about a zillion PM's :D), but I may treat myself to some nice viewing later .......... Harrison Ford? Gabriel Byrne or Jason Issacs??? Decisions, descisions :D

I have 6 hours of teen slave labour tomorrow, as my neighbour's son owes her £30 :D

I'm putting together a list for him:

    Mow grass
    Trim edges
    Cut hedges
    Wash car
    Clean inside of car
Empty, sweep out and repack shed

What else can an 18 year old safely and usefully do?

Ooh thanks all. Confession time, I bought a ready made packet for my first one and it's in the BM now. Didn't want to do something too ambitious without all your input but I have it now so Im on the case! My Panasonic book mentions milk powder but I guess you dont use that?

Positive vibes please ladies, have to call a recruitment agency back tomorrow re a job. Ive looked up the agency and it looks to be slightly 'faster fashion' than Id like but its a big company, another mat leave, in Glasgow so I could stay here with my friends and my freezer and BM!!! and a big salary increase. Not sure if its what Id want to do long term but for that cash I could do it for 9 months/a year to add it to the old CV and call it an experience. It would also let me spend the buffer, which would be fun as I wouldn't need it to stay here.

Phew! Ended the day without any homicide charges thank goodness! It was a close run thing a few times though! :D

MG I'll have to start keeping my eye on AF again as I'm not so far off wanting to stock up on a few bits. Reckon I can go at least a month yet though. Funny you mentioning the chinese supermarket too - I'll be off to ours on Friday as I need White vinegar and am also running a bit low on bicarb. My friend is coming with me though so lord knows what she'
ll make of 10 litres of white vinegar and several kilos of bicarb! :rotfl:

Greenbee - clean windows, sweep paths, pull weeds out of anything concrete....what other jobs do you hate doing yourself that you'd trust him with?! ;)

Bitsy Tesco had bread flour at 68p on Saturday - just checked on MySupermarket and both they and Asda are still showing that price now. :) I bought a couple of bags, and will buy a couple more if they are still that price this week.

Had some more of the chick pea & sweet potato curry from Saturday night this evening - such a blessing making a huge pot of it so there was some for tonight and 2 portions frozen also! Had that with a small portion of rice again and made some raita again as well. Followed up with a big bowl of fruit - melon, strawberries (Tesco Value ones are now British and at only £1.50 for 400g are cheaper than the normal ones by 49p) and kiwi fruit. Would have been some nectarine as well but on looking the reaining 4 in the punnet are all bordering on mouldy so THOSE will be going back to Tesco tomorrow! MrEH has just been tormenting me with a pcket of Smokey Bacon crisps but I have held firm and resisted! :A Actually feeling quite positive about this at the moment - for the first time in several years I really feel like I can stick to eating better this time - the only problem with the lack of scales for me is not being able to measure my progress for these first few weeks - I know once I start feeling a real difference in the fit of my clothes the incentive to continue will be there for sure but at the moment I just have to go with the feelings of positivity and the goal of what I want to achieve, along with some excellent support from you ladies of course! :D

My bread recipe book uses milk powder too Souk - and yes, we do use it - I think it's something to do with improving the texture?

Definite positive vibes for your call tomorrow too - how great if you could find something that would let you stay there for a bit longer!

Souk - try Marvel (semi skimmed powdered milk)

Fantasia. 3 days is an amazing start. You keep posting how you are getting on. We are all interested.

Sorry everybody, so tired that I cant take it all in so just popping in to say, please all wish me postivity tomorrow for the biggest presentation I will ever make in my life. Feeling very nervous. So just about 11.00 I hope that I start feeling lots of vibes flying over the waters of Cardiff Bay and heading my way. I would really appreciate it.

Positive vibes flowing your way already for tomorrow Cheri - not though I believe for one second that you will need them - you'll be fantastic! :T

Tesco Value milk powder is what we use - generally works out cheaper than most others. :)
